- The faculty looks for perfection in the work of their students, which keeps student on their toes.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course followed for my batch is course 2020, which is an updated syllabus fulfilling the requirements and better understanding. The college focuses on practical and theoretical learning both simultaneously. Frequent study tours and site visits are organized and sponsored, where a student spends the minimum amount. The faculty are well experienced and helpful. Regular teacher's meetings are conducted to keep a check on academics and if any problems are faced by students.
Internships Opportunities :
Internships are provided by the college in the 4th yr of the branch course for 90 days with a minimum stipend of 5k and a maximum stipend of 15k. The internship gives an experience of a junior architect working mostly upon working drawings or estimation and costing.
Placement Experience :
Placements and interviews are available in college after the completion of a five-year course. Academically, the student can get an internship in the 8th and 9th semesters. But one is free to do an internship for a month or so whenever he or she wishes to. 3 to 4 lakhs of the package are offered to a freshly graduated architect from this college. But few choose to opt for a master's before getting into earning. Which is also available in this college- a master's in sustainable architecture.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The annual fees is 1,10, 000. Scholarships are available with some basic steps to follow. Financial assistance is also given to the needful candidates. Even the staff are very supportive and humble, if the student is in need. Even campus jobs are available, which is a great opportunity to the students, where we get to work on live projects.
Campus Life :
Campus life is very adventurous here. The seniors are mostly very supportive and we create a bond it goes on for life. We even get to stay in touch with the alumni through various Events held Like Therefore or Pecha Kucha. There are various clubs to join for example heritage, art, music, technology, etc.
Admission :
Cut off of BVDU for the NATA exam was 70 and 50% in boards, where I scored 137 and I was able to get admission through the merit round. During my admission process, since I was present in the city, I could visit the college. Where I was guided to fill out the form online by the staff. The admission forms or details are available on the BVD universities website as well.
