Remarks
Needs to be more updated not only in regards to the curriculum but also in terms of manging their students.
Entrance Preview
MAT - 96%, I got admission through MAT and chose this college I wanted to do my MBA from a reputed college which gives a great ROI. With fees fitting in my budget and great placements this college is the ultimate choice.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is just fine but needs to be updated with the current industry standards. Also more practical sessions need to be done. There is a restriction of single specialization which creates problem for students who want to have an alternate career line.
Internships Opportunities
Yes the college provides internships but in very rare cases. Although you have personal from alot of faculties but mostly you are on your own when it come to intenships.
Placement Experience
The Placements are tremendous with some very good companies coming on board. Mostly placement locations are in south India. Brands like Cisco, HUL, ITC come on board for good roles. The package varies from 4- 12 lakhs per annum.
College Events
Chrizzelenz is a management fest that is celebrated in the Kengeri campus wherein all the colleges from across the country are invited to come over and participate. Best Manager is their Flagship Event. There is ethnic day on 5th September wherein a Dj and cultural events are organised.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is feasible as compared to other colleges keeping in mind the ROI that they provide during placements. It's 6.75 lakh for 2 yrs and it does not include mess and hostel charges. One had to pay 3.25 at the beginning of the first year and 3.5 at the beginning of the second year.
Fees and Financial Aid
Not aware of any such offers as didn't avail any of these but sure there are some options available for meritorious students.
Campus Life
The campus life is very strict just like any other missionary colleges or schools. For girls no sleeveless and without dupattas are not allowed and they are supposed to be inside the hostel by 9 whereas for boys the timing is 9.30. Also inside the hostel the person cannot sit in someone else room and need to be inside their allotted rooms by 10.30 and lights should be switched of by 11. You cannot stay inside the hostel even when u r sick unless you have approvals from the faculty and management.
Hostel Facilities
The Hostel facilities are quiet decent but can't say the same about food although a lot of other eating joints are available across the two campus which provide a lot of eating options. Both veg and non veg. Apart from that The Thali option for Rs 50-60 works good with students who prefer to eat in budget.
Alumni/Alumna
There is an alumni page where evry student gets connected and tey can contact the past alumni from there also they keep on posting jobs as and when they are avilable.
Exam Structure
The exam structure is a bit complicated. You have continous assments and hardly get a break. It works on a trimester mode. There are presentations and internals of 10 marks each followed by a mid semester of 50 marks and then followed by a final exam of 100 marks which in turn in compressed to a 100 marks in total.
Admission
I applied to the college through MAT exams with 96% and went through round of GD, presentation and PI before the final selection. For the gd rounds the list of topics is given in advance for the candidate to prepare, which helps them in getting ready for the coming rounds.
Faculty
The faculty of the college is unmatched to alot of other colleges in the city. Some are very innovative in they way they teach while others prefer to teach like school teachers. Again, it depends upon faculty to faculty.
