- In lunch break you have to go to hostel to take lunch which might b so frustrating in summer.
- You have to travel from hostel to college and it's very hot in summer.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is well structured and perfectly designed, In the first year you will learn and explore various domains of engineering and also learn C and C++ programming languages. I choose computer Engineering here because I was very much fascinated by programming and coding. I was really passionate about how the program and software were developed. Mostly all of the faculties in charusat are qualified pHD, also the teaching method of faculties is very understanding. There is 2 internals in one semester and 1 viva and 1 external examination, internals are quite easy to pass as there is a half syllabus in each and viva and external are moderate.
Internships Opportunities :
University provides two internships first at the end of the second year as a summer internship in which the University gives the list of companies at which you can apply for an internship. And also at the end of the 6th sem University gives me an opportunity to do internships at various different companies.
Placement Experience :
Charusat has 100% placement, and around 100+ companies participate in the placement of the University. When you pass 6 sem you are eligible to sit in the placement. Charusat have 6 LPA as its the average placement
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure is for ACPC and management students it's 128000 for 1 year And for NRI students its $4000 for 1 year You can appear for MYSY and food bill scholarships if you are eligible for them. MYSY gives 56000 and the food bill gives 15000 rs of scholarship.
Campus Life :
Charusat University has various tech fest and it's famous for its annual fest it is known as SPOURAL generally it is conducted in the month of February. Tech fest and various hackathons were also been conducted throughout the year and charusat is also part of some government-conducted hackathons. Every department of charusat has its own library and you can access those ar anytime you want to. Also, a sports event used to be held in the Feb month where different departments compete with each other. There are a few clubs like GDSC, AISEC
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel facility is absolutely great, all the hostels are around in the range of 200-600 meters, and please note that the girls' hostel is on the campus while the boys' hostel is outside the campus. Meals at the hostel are also very good and of nice quality. To register in the hostel you have to go to the hostel office and have to ask for an empty room or bed in the hostel. The best is the Shreedeep boy's hostel. You can also stay in PGs even though PGs are in the range of 1-2 km from charusat University.
Admission :
The admission process was pretty simple, I applied through ACPC and also I applied for management quota, in which I was offered an IT course. The application form needs to be filled out through charusat University's official website, in the admission section you can feel the form for inquiry of admission and also to apply for management quota. It's a very simple and easy flow admission process, there were no hurdles I faced while applying at charusat University.
