Course Curriculum Overview :
I am impressed with the course curriculum and faculty members at the institution. The course curriculum is well-designed and comprehensive, covering a range of topics related to my field of study. I appreciate the curriculum is constantly updated to reflect the latest developments and techniques. The professors are highly knowledgeable and experienced in their fields. They are very qualified and approachable and supportive, always willing to answer questions and provide guidance. Class tests are taken in regular basis and they evaluate students regularly. Term exams would also challenge students to think critically.
Internships Opportunities :
Internship opportunities are available for students in all majors and fields of study, and there are internships available for students of all levels, from freshmen to seniors. The college also provides support and resources to help students make the most of their internship experiences.
Placement Experience :
Not Agartala has a strong reputation for producing graduates who are highly employable. One of the strengths of the college's placements is the extensive network of industry connections. The college has partnerships with many leading companies in a variety of fields. NIT Agartala has an excellent placement record. The placement process usually starts in the 7th semester. Centre for career development gives students resources to help students prepare for their future careers, including workshops on resume writing and interview skills. Several renowned companies visit NIT Agartala for placements, such as Amazon, Microsoft, Reliance Jio, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Google, Western Digital and many more. The highest package offered can go up to 50 LPA, while the average package offered is around 6-7 LPA. However, if campus placement is not offered students can explore other avenues
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I received the Ishaan Uday scholarship because my annual income was less than 100000 and I had more than 60% throughout my career. During our placement session, I got placed in Wipro with a 6.5 lpa CTC. Our CCD was very supportive and helped us crack interviews.
Campus Life :
NIT agartala has a vast range of clubs and societies catering to the varied interests of students. There are various clubs running inside the campus like- fine arts Club, robotics club, aviation club, e-cell club etc. Several other clubs are present there to encourage students to take part in extra curricular activities. NIT agartala has a vast array of sports facilities, including a football ground, cricket ground, basketball court, and badminton court. The college encourages students to take part in various sport and extracurricular activities, providing ample opportunities for students to excel in their chosen fields.
Admission :
Overall, I found the admission process to be straightforward and well-organized. The first step was to take the Jee main exam, which was challenging but fair. The application process user friendly and easy to navigate. At that time josaa was managing the whole admission process. I appreciate that there were clear instructions and prompts for each section of the website, which made it easy to provide all the required information. One can get the idea of the cut-off range for acceptance into different programs from previous year cut-offs available on several websites. One has to clear the cut-off and should possess 75% in math, physics and chemistry in 10+2, this is the only eligibility criteria. If one's overall monthly income is less than 100000 he/she may avail benefits regarding tuition fees. Overall, however, I am satisfied with my experience with the application process.
