Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose the course as it was the flagship program of the institute and also doing a general program gave me holistic development before deciding on my majors and minors in the second year. The faculty-student ratio is good enough, I never saw more than 60 students for one teacher so never felt that it was overcrowded. Qualification is on an average basis as sometimes new faculties are not up to the mark. Exams were every three months but passing is a challenging task as end term passing criteria is 50% out of 40

Internships Opportunities :

the internship opportunities are amazing as well where consulting companies like ey, Deloitte, kpmg or Asian paints, Britania, Gartner, marsh etc. offer a variety of roles and stipends ranging from 1 lakh per month to at times no stipend.

Placement Experience :

Students become eligible in the second year in the fourth trimester only and some of the companies that are prominent recruiters are Deloitte, EY, KPMG, Asian paints, D.E. shaw etc. The highest package was 24.75 lakhs per annum for asset-backed securities profile and the average was close to 11.5-12 lakhs per annum, the majority of roles were in the field of consulting and apart from this FMCG companies offered sales profile

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fee hikes are like any other institutes where inflation is considered and fees are hiked every year. Personally, for me, I found the program to be worth it. Talking about scholarships there were ample opportunities and 6-7 people got scholarships close to one lakh rupees.

Campus Life :

The annual fest is named Tatva which runs for 2 days a lot of events take place during these days and a lot of artists like standup comedians are invited to perform. It is conducted in the month of February. Talking about books there is enough material available in the library and one of the best facilities that I found in the institute was the Bloomberg lab which is great for people looking for doing major in finance. The institute does not have its own ground facilities but has tie-ups with some outside facilities, it has a gym and a tt room on campus. Extracurricular is highly taken care of as our institute has close to 14 academic and non-academic clubs which students can choose based on their interest aur where they want to develop their interest, Apart from this the institute also has 4 cultural clubs which takes care of music, dance, drama etc.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel facilities are average at the moment and the rooms are quite small in size and in double sharing, which adds to more misery. Food is decent enough and is eatable on most days and the good part is lunch is served in the institute given the fact that the hostel is not on campus. The process is simple for a hostel, for every non-Delhi NCR student it is mandatory for everyone to get a hostel and for Delhi NCR people if someone wishes to opt it will be given on an availability basis.

Admission :

The admission process was smooth and in a proper manner where the cut-off was 83 percentile for the program I got enrolled in. I found the application form easily on the institute's website and other details were also easily available. The fee details, program structure, and courses offered everything were available in a proper manner. I appeared in the gd and pi both, so i don't think there is any need to change the admission process

Interview Experience :

Gd topics were basically related to current affairs, My topic was based on media and politics. Interview questions were basically related to the background of the individual and the interests that are mentioned in the introduction. Also, it is not a stressful interview, more of a question answer round where it is also not very technical.

Other Applied Colleges

Nirma University - [NU] | Master of Business Administration [MBA] (Finance)

The average package of Lbsim was higher as compared to nirma and also new delhi was more preffered location and that is why i chose lbsim

Placement Experience:

Placement of the colleges is very nice after the internship gap after that we have semester 3 and while we are in semester 3 the companies start approaching us domain wise so if one is into marketing they will have so many options and is there into operations we have very few companies so it's a thing in the college but if you are someone who isn't place the college will take care all though they provide enough companies like in internship in my batch we had around 40 companies and I feel like in the placement they also help a lot

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am a MBA student. I wanted to do it for my own father's company. But I've faced a lot of issues in my 1 sem. Also i would like to tell about the teacher of QT because of her i got a back in my exams. Improvements are surely required because most of the students fail in QT. I've asked from my seniors too there is no management for this subject. Also the exam level was high because we didn't knew what even the syllabus was

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for final placements in third semester and summer placements in the first semester itself. We have many big names here in the campus JP Morgan Chase and Co, Morgan Stanley, AON, ICICI Bank, Atomberg, Hindalco, Deloitte, KPIT, Samsung, etc. Almost all the students get placed here. I'd the percentage is above 90. The highest placement offered was 26LAC+ and the average stood at 14lacs. I am currently intern at a company via the college placements and am working towards getting a PPO. If I get one, I plan on staying in the same company.

Placement Experience:

College offers its students placements which makes them give a loud shout-out. Although the placement process is hair-raising, the results are out of the league when compared to the rest of B-schools. Please check the placement report in detail from our website, because my words won't be able to do justice to the results we have.

Remarks:

My experience with the USMS IPU institute was pretty exceptional. I would definitely recommend this institute for whosoever is looking to pursue a master's degree in the region. Admissions are on the basis of the entrance exam organized by the university, itself. Infrastructure is world-class and everyone is pretty supportive here.
