Course Curriculum Overview :
Btech computer science is a widely sorted out professional course and the rise in demand for Tech professionals has quite added to my bias in choosing this as a course. It was most definitely a business decision rather than a decision of passion. There is a student-to-teacher ratio of 1:60 and the teaching quality is quite fair. The college is under Kerala technical university and the new timing and schedule of the course have made it quite hectic and cumbersome to handle for average students.
Placement Experience :
The placements are fine and students from cs are almost always placed. The highest offer is 6LPA. There is a high percentage of computer science students getting placed but for other batches, placement can only consider fair.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The college has a fee hike policy for acquiring supplies. Scholarships are for meritorious students who scored well in their keam examination. Another financial support like MCMA scholarships is also supported for students from minority classes.
Campus Life :
The campus has quite a lot of tech-related seminars and workshops organized by various clubs but funding for such programs is not provided by the college which often causes friction in the programs rising to their full potential. Arts and other cultural activities are not promoted up to the mark. The art club could be improved. Programs that enrich the general college experience are very poor and almost nonexistent.
Admission :
Course eligibility for computer science and engineering is 80% or 90% above in your high school degree. The admission processes are quite straightforward with the submission of documentation and payment of fees. College offers scholarships on the basis of merit and other criteria.
