Remarks

Yes, admission was done based on 12th-standard marks. A CAT exam was conducted. I had even given IIT JEE which was also a criterion at the time of my admission. Those grades do help in the admission procedure. No reservation benefits for me.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is something that I was interested in. Construction and civil was a plus point for me so wanted to explore that field. The faculty is good, the administration is also good. The exam system is also good in comparison.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is on a little higher side, so is in all the private collages. Would hope for it to be on the lower side but okay. Since I was not in any reservation category it felt high. Around 1.2LPA. But if you are qualified in any category then well and good.

Campus Life

Various competitions were held. Even sports events used to take place. Talking about group activities and clubs I used to participate in a maximum of them. Extra curriculum activities are other than a little sports nothing as such. But fair enough.

An Honest Review

Placement Experience:

The Campus placement of VNIT Nagpur is good enough. Students of 7th and 8th semesters are elegible for campus placement. Many companies visited in the campus some prominent names were google, Microsoft, amazon, Goldman Sachs, and many core companies such as bajaj, HPCL,BPCL etc. the number of offers made was 760 in 2024 and placement percentage was around 80 percent.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college are pretty good considering the Fact that mostly its the Top 2000-3000 students from Maharashtra that make it to this college. The average Package offered in the college is Around 11LPA while the highest package last year was around 48LPA. The names of the Top companies that have recruited students from my college include Adobe, Amazon and Mastercard. The placement percentage from the past few years has been above 90%. My plans after getting the Degree is either to continue my Cricket Career as a Proffesional or to become a Commercial Pilot.

I have applied for list of many collegers like Mojhe College Pune ,D.Y.Patil Akurdi ,D.Y .Patil ,Pimpri ,JSPM college and others . But I am not get these colleges due to marks concern . But at the end I choose the college D.Y.Patil Ambi because the college has good placement along with good academic records in the past.
