Remarks :

The admission process involved a Written ability test, Group discussion and followed by Personal interview. The panelists had a brief understanding of my profile and gave insights about the course curriculum and other activities that are supported here.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is really good in shaping our management ability. Several key electives like Enterprise resource planning (ERP), Operation management, and IT Strategy have been game changers for me during my placements, also for good learning purposes.

Internships Opportunities :

Companies like EY, Mphasis, OBO Batterman, and other leading tech giants offer internships with a stipend ranging from 10k - 30k per month. Projects related to Logistics optimization, Improving lead time, and reducing costs are some of the projects that have been done under the operations stream.

Placement Experience :

Placements from top companies are coming every year. Our institute having 3 campuses in Bangalore, Chennai and Kochi is having a strong corporate connection which enables better career opportunities. Top IT, Consulting firms like KPMG, Ey, PWC, Infosys, Wipro, and Accenture come for placements every year.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure is comparatively much more affordable and gives the best ROI when compared with other Top tier 2 B-schools. The institute provides Merit-based scholarships and also offers financial aid for good-performing students up to 1 Lakh per year.

Campus Life :

An annual fest named XIMERA will be conducted every year. There's an important debate competition name Maria Philip debate competition which is conducted across South India and involves more than 200 colleges. Intra-college Sportsfest is conducted and prizes are distributed. The library is having good ambiance and good collections that can be utilized all the time.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel facility is Air-conditioned with double occupancy in a room. It has a fantastic Ambience and maintenance is also done properly. Housekeeping takes care of cleaning the room and a washing machine is available. The meal menu is fine and meal quality can be improved.

Interview Experience :

Yes to start with the Written-test, we were given a topic related to Global warming and wrote on a full page of points that addresses the issues related to this topic. Then, the same written test topic is used in group discussions where we expressed different views on the topic. Finally, in the Personal interview, it was more sort of understanding my profile and how an MBA can able to leverage my career.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are handled by the Placement team of our college. More than 100 companies visit the campus for placements. Due to the rules of the placement team, the companies that visit the campus cannot be disclosed. The average stipend for summer internships is usually around 70-80k per month and the average package for the final placements is around 17 lakhs. The placements in the college are decent enough.

Placement Experience:

For the summer internships, certain big names come after the second month of starting college whereas the majority typically come around the second term which is from October to December. On account of Covid-19, the level of placement has come down drastically with most of the companies being startups. As far as final placements are concerned, there is a lot of scope for finance and moderate expectations for marketing and little to slim for operation roles. The placement percentage always becomes 95 or 100% either by forcefully putting students in irrelevant job roles or making them withdraw from the process.

Remarks:

The only problem in this college is the infrastructure. Most of the buildings are very old and especially our department building is quite old and prone to leakage during rain. Other than that the college is quite good and well equipped with a big library and wifi facilities are also provided.

Remarks:

Overall the College is a good college. But there are too many levels of hierarchy. We never really know who is the main head of the institution because there are so many people like Principal, Chairman, Director, Coordinator etc. The university the college is affiliated under is not good. Anna University is keen on looting student's money.
