Remarks :

The cutoff for selection was 60% in any of the entrance exams. The application form can only be found on their own website it cost me around rs. 1500 for the application. The best thing about this college is that they don't do this reservation biasedness.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The faculty of this college are all scholars and have a good reach in the industry out there. They teach so well that it becomes easier for us to understand any concept. We have exams every month. Even if you miss one class you might have to face difficulty during the examination.

Placement Experience :

After semester 4 companies come into the college for placements. Companies like EY, KPMG, PWC, Schnider, Adani, HDFC, HPE and 100s came for placements. The college has a 100% placements record and fortunately, it's true. My plan is to work in the company I got selected into for the next 3-4 years and then switch because the role I have been offered has a huge growth potential.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure compared to other colleges is affordable. They also provide financial assistance from banks so that students can afford the fee. I got placed in one of the Big 4 and the package is very attractive. They come up with plenty of job opportunities.

Campus Life :

We conduct every festival on campus followed by dance competitions and different cultural fests. Our library is the best place where you can sit and think, to all the extra knowledge our library had 1000s of books and journals. We have a sports room where we can play chess, Carrom board, table tennis etc and outdoor games like badminton, football, volleyball and cricket.

Hostel Facilities :

We are provided with AC as weather of chennai is really hot, so the AC makes our life easier. We have attached washrooms in the room so hygiene is top notch. Food provided here is average. Since it's a residential college we are not allowed to live outside campus.

Interview Experience :

My GD topic was 5G boon or bane. The discussion went very well and I could feel the competition among the students. We also had written ability test and the PI was conducted. I prepared everything from my resume so that I will be able to answer their questions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are handled by the Placement team of our college. More than 100 companies visit the campus for placements. Due to the rules of the placement team, the companies that visit the campus cannot be disclosed. The average stipend for summer internships is usually around 70-80k per month and the average package for the final placements is around 17 lakhs. The placements in the college are decent enough.

Placement Experience:

The placement committee organises all placement activities. A lot of opportunities are available. About 120 companies visited for final placements with a similar number of offers being made. The highest package is 25 lakhs. 100% placement has been recorded. Being a premier institute, lots of opportunities after education.

Placement Experience:

For the summer internships, certain big names come after the second month of starting college whereas the majority typically come around the second term which is from October to December. On account of Covid-19, the level of placement has come down drastically with most of the companies being startups. As far as final placements are concerned, there is a lot of scope for finance and moderate expectations for marketing and little to slim for operation roles. The placement percentage always becomes 95 or 100% either by forcefully putting students in irrelevant job roles or making them withdraw from the process.

Remarks:

The only problem in this college is the infrastructure. Most of the buildings are very old and especially our department building is quite old and prone to leakage during rain. Other than that the college is quite good and well equipped with a big library and wifi facilities are also provided.

Remarks:

Overall the College is a good college. But there are too many levels of hierarchy. We never really know who is the main head of the institution because there are so many people like Principal, Chairman, Director, Coordinator etc. The university the college is affiliated under is not good. Anna University is keen on looting student's money.
