The course is 4 years long. It contains 8 semesters. One has to apply and pass the WBJEE exam. The exam form is available online. It has reservations also for various castes. The admission process is offline in the college.

The course curriculum is divided into 8 semesters. The teacher teaches very well. The student-teacher ratio is almost 75:1 in the class. The faculties are very well practiced by famous institutes in India.

Internships Opportunities

our college is located in Salt Lake City sector v Kolkata. It is currently the cyber hub of our state. so there are chances in various companies to get internships. The internships are paid well and certification is very important.

Placement Experience

placements are average in my college in my department in my opinion. average package is 3 LPA and the highest is 18 LPA. 60 percent of students get placements. Various companies come to our college like Wesley etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is 166000. fees have to be paid in 8 installments. one has to Pay in every six months. there is a special scholarship for TFW which means those whose annual family income is less than 250000.

Campus Life

In our college, the Civil department has an annual foot called civilians. Books are available in the college library. Our classroom is airy and good. the study environment is good but the sports environment is too bad. we have some types of clubs in our college also.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is not attached to the college. it is situated within 15 min walking distance of the college. Meal quality in the hostel is below average. The hostel has sufficient rooms for everyone. nearby pg and room rents are also available.

Placement Experience:

Placements depends on your skills Usually there is a compulsory internship at the end of 3rd year If you didnt get it via college you should do it from outside but its compulsory And at the end of 4th year you get placement. Placemeng isnt 100% . If you have the skill you will get placed thats the criteria.many people say you are in IIT your life is sorted .but that aint the reality

The students can apply for internship via Career Development Centre in the beginning of their pre final Year. they can go for off campus intern whenever they want. Most of the goo companies would come and mostly for software finance consulting etc. The placements start in the second last semester as far as i know. The competition for placement is getting really high these days

Course Curriculum Overview:

I read in CSE(AIML) AI ML perspective and couse curriculam inluenced me to admit in college. Teachers often make real-world applications gor any pariculatr topic. I think more practical based an implement based curriculam should be added rather than more theorital subs. Most case college is form 9am -5 pm Like (9-5 job) .

NIT DURGAPUR - A Detailed Breakdown

Placement Experience:

Students generally start getting their pre-placement offers from their 3rd year after completion of their internships other students gets their placement too in their final year. Starting from Apple to Google and Microsoft too hired some of our senior but the number of the students get placed in those tech giant companies is very less but there are mass recruiters too like TCS infosys PW chaitanya education TATA steel BHARAT petroleum and many other companies the offers are made based upon the eligibility of the students and the packages are decided based on the skillset and experience of the students . Highest package was 70 LPA this year and the average packages are also pretty good based upom the companies and their offers it ranges from 15-30 LPA .Almost 80-83% students gets placed but it depends on the branch of the students and their skillsets.I want to sit for GATE exam after completion of my BTech and want to persue MTech

SURTECH REVIEW

Course Curriculum Overview:

The university is MAKAUT so the curriculum is up to the mark. I liked Programming so I chose B.TECH in CSE. The curriculum is very basic in terms of practical world problem though they are building blocks, but you need to do the extra bit of work to qualify for the real world scenarios. I think more mandatory projects integrated with current set of skills would be a cherry on top. Exams are very frequent like every 3-4 months there is a semester exam and they are moderately difficult.

Remarks:

Placement for IT streams is very good but not good for the core stream. Infrastructure and campus beauty are very good. Faculty are average. Canteens are slightly costly but foods are ok. Hostel and Transport facilities are available.

This college is west bengal no 2 private college according to NIRF data and also placement basis. And techno has better quality in education rather than other college.
