Remarks :

This college belongs to a politician and hence it feels that the management is running under gangster rule.

Entrance Preview :

At my time admission was based on 12th marks. I took admission because I got the branch which I wanted.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum is same all over the RTM Nagpur University so there is no change for different colleges except for VNIT which has their own course. For rimnu syllabus is fixed and even if students learn repeated questions from last 5 years they can score marks.

Placement Experience :

Now a days a concept of open campus interview is being followed by the companies. So most of the time for any campus interview approximate all colleges are invited which is convenient for students. As far as RPCE is concerned placement assistance is poor.

College Events :

Events that happened were all organised by students (as in every college) but college was always short on funds. Whenever other colleges held some festivals our college was also invited for competitions and events and we used to participate in them. During our time our college did not hold any such event which was open for other colleges also.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Scholarships are provided by government for which you have to submit forms in college. I dont have any idea about loan facility but now a days many banks provide education loans.

Campus Life :

College is a bit out skirts of city so travelling by public transport is a bit issue there. This college was just established 4-5 years before I joined so there were many short coming which were being addressed as the days past. Rest is as same as any other college.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facility was a formality and mess provided normal food but it was some what unhygenic. Mostly students preferred eating out. But nearly all hostels have same stories so nothing much special about this hostel. And mostly girls hostel was maintained

Alumni/Alumna :

Well the alumni students that I have met were really very helpful. They used to guide us about different competitive exams and other job opportunities.

Exam Structure :

Exam structure is set by RTM Nagpur University so its uniform all over the colleges. As far as practicals are concerned we had to struggle with limited number of equipments (many were faulty). Labs were like formalities as to show to DTE (Directorate of t

Faculty :

Faculty of college were mostly the pass outs of our college. Few lecturers were very good. Rest were so-so. Mostly you have to depend on self study. We on our time used to depend on VBD and G4 series books which had repeated questions from the university

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placement from the 7th semester itself. Last year a ton of companies visited the campus right from TCS, Infosys, and Accenture to ZS associates, Veritas, etc. There is a good opportunity for nontech branches also in the college, the package is not high but it is good. According to the college, almost 78% of students got the placements. The highest packages were 45 LPA Amazon, 44 LPA Microsoft, and 36.5 LPA D.E.Shaw. The majority of the placements above 12 LPA were off campus, few were on campus. My plans after getting a degree are to be placed in good company with a good package

Course Curriculum Overview:

All the students are given electives to choose and we also have the compulsory courses too, common for all. The electives could be chosen based on varied interests of students and are very engaging. The compulsory courses are chosen and kept very wisely and are essential for computer science and engineering students. The courses and evaluation plans are very well created and curated for students to be able to solve real world problems too later in professional and personal lives. There aren't much suggestions and areas to improve as of now. Exams and tests are conducted almost every two weeks. This keeps the students keen on learning and practicing all the while and doesn't let them slag in between the semester. The exams are monitored from the headquarters at Pune, and hence all is kept under check and maintained.

Placement Experience:

As our college provides placement on our Campuses the opportunity to grab placement is quite simple but not much as there is competition among 3 colleges, although the maximum students who get placed through campus placements, is around 60%.
