Remarks :
I go to this college through a joint engineering entrance examination. The Uttranchal technical university release form for admission purposes. Then there are three to four rounds of counselling regarding admission. I wanted to do engineering since my childhood. The faculty is great for the electrical department but not for all other departments. Teachers are also well qualified. Teachers are helpful and give you great attention.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are both good and bad. There are 2-3 lectures on a subject in a week including 1 practical. Teachers are aged above 30 and with good qualifications. All of them are good at their subjects. Some are IITians, some are PhDs etc. They teach nicely. And they do clear things for students. Few teachers have industry experience. They are best to be around.
Placement Experience :
The college believes more in education and excellence than placement. Notwithstanding that the placement ratio of college is around 80% which is through all top-notch companies in the field for any engineering college. Campus placement at our location is not that much as the college is in hilly areas companies do not visit. Our training placement cell make arrangement for the student to stop go Dehradun Roorkee Pantnagar and other places for placement
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure is around 50000 per semester for hostel and college fees. For a govt college, it's almost feasible a d affordable. loan structure is also available in the college. there are 3 seats for tfw in each branch
Campus Life :
Labs are almost best than any nit or IIT and ECE has the best lab in the state. Sports activities are good but not up to the mark due to the small ground and the condition of the ground. All the other activities are done by different clubs in the college
Hostel Facilities :
This hostel is absolutely superb, the staff are friendly, helpful, full of local knowledge and go the extra mile. The facilities are cleaned daily, rooms are spacious and air-conditioned, large lockers for the bigger backpacks and free wireless internet in the lounge with some computers also connected to the internet, with a large screen TV (which was popular most evenings) Breakfast is good and a real bonus is a 6.30 pm snack, which can range from pizza to some lovingly prepared sandwiches. The hostel is closed off every day between 11am and 5 pm
