Remarks

I was enrolled in this college through wbjee examination. My rank was around 24k and I got this college in tfw quota in the information technology department of engineering. This application for wbjee is available on the internet. Yes, this college provides a reservation facility.

Course Curriculum Overview

Because I wanted to explore information technology. I want to become a software web developer so I chose this stream. All the faculty members are well qualified and well experienced. The college conducts 2 internal examinations in a semester. And the semester exam is not too hard if u r a sincere student.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 480000 per year

Placement Experience

The college placements are around 85% for this batch. The college id expecting 90% placement this year. The average package is 5 LPA, the lowest package is 3.5 LPA, and the highest package is 11 LPA. The maximum number of recruiters of this college are TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, cognizant, Accenture, Wipro, etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fees structure for my course is 4.8 lakh for 4 years but I have to pay only rs 1.05 lakhs for the 4 yrs because I was enrolled in the tfw quota. Many scholarships are in this college like svmcm, nsp oasis, aikyashree etc. Students can also complete their studies by taking a student loan. They can easily for the west Bengal student credit card (wbscc), drcc, etc.

Campus Life

The college organizes the annual cultural fest and tech fest every year. There are around 98000 books in the college library and book bank of the college. Daily newspapers are also available. The classrooms are well designed with wifi facilities in each. Many clubs are there like music, dance, drama, photography, science,gk&quiz, trekking, nss, NCC, etc. Many sports like volleyball, cricket, football, badminton, chess, and carrom. Billiards, table tennis, etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I read in CSE(AIML) AI ML perspective and couse curriculam inluenced me to admit in college. Teachers often make real-world applications gor any pariculatr topic. I think more practical based an implement based curriculam should be added rather than more theorital subs. Most case college is form 9am -5 pm Like (9-5 job) .

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester students are eligible for campus placement. Infosys,TCS digital,TCS prime, Oracle, Cognizent etc companies visited in our college for placement. Placement Experience:

Students generally start getting their pre-placement offers from their 3rd year after completion of their internships other students gets their placement too in their final year. Starting from Apple to Google and Microsoft too hired some of our senior but the number of the students get placed in those tech giant companies is very less but there are mass recruiters too like TCS infosys PW chaitanya education TATA steel BHARAT petroleum and many other companies the offers are made based upon the eligibility of the students and the packages are decided based on the skillset and experience of the students . Highest package was 70 LPA this year and the average packages are also pretty good based upom the companies and their offers it ranges from 15-30 LPA .Almost 80-83% students gets placed but it depends on the branch of the students and their skillsets.I want to sit for GATE exam after completion of my BTech and want to persue MTech

My College Life tour can never be described in words but through emotions

To get into Engineering college we have to sit for either JEE Mains or WBJEE after clearing any of this, the rank will get you into sny of this course. During Couselling I got into AOT in Adisaptagram. But the distance from my house is quite far so my parents wanted me to get into any nearby college. So when I took admission in JIS College of Engineering, I got in with my WBJEE rank. The admission process went quite well.
