Remarks :

You should have a minimum score of 60 percent in 12th and 10th... You can go to the wbjee website for application form dates that are announced around March - April. You have to score at least 45+ marks to get a good rank to get into this .... Admission process is Good no need for improvement is required. The counseling process takes time only.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I am from Electronics and communication department. Faculty members are well educated and there is no issue of language problem because the English language is used by every faculty member faculty: student ratio is also good. There are 4 internals held in which the top 3 of them count and finally you have to give a semester you can easily score well if you study for at least 15 days.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 84000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

No internships are provided by the college you have to find them yourself. The college provides only a training program which is paid. It's only the worst part. You have to work hard and find yourself going off campus.

Placement Experience :

College placements are good After completing the 6th semester you're eligible for placement .there are approximately 20+ companies that have visited and o got offers from four big MNC's highest package is 11 LPA and the average package is 3-4 LPA. 90 percent of people get placed. I want to do a job in IT after my degree completion I got a 6.5 LPA offer letter.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees are low compared to other wbjee colleges the hostel fee is only 12000 per semester, as well as semester fee, is also less i.e 42000. They take an extra 2000 for the exam fee every semester that's is approximately you can complete your engineering in less than 4 lakhs that's. No scholarship is present. I got placed in companies i.e Accenture, TCS (off campus), Capgemini, and mindtree.

Campus Life :

Paryukti is one of our tech fest held every year. It's a very big fest held in our college and the next day Riviera happens there we bring top singers from our college and many small tech fests done every month. Books and journals are present in the Library anyone can read there or borrow them. In our college, we organize every sports tournament such as badminton, football, cricket.. and cricket is one of the most liked sports events in our college. there are many groups like IETE, IEEE, samarpan, and many more clubs there you can join.

Hostel Facilities :

You will be provided matrices a pillow, 1 chair and table, room size 1 bhk with attached bathroom. Food quality is ok. Hotel fees are affordable only 12000 for the semester it's too low compared to other colleges.

MAKAUT Experience

Entrance Preview:

I had to clear two exams to get admission here. First was the entrance exam conducted by the university itself, called WBUT PGET (Postgraduate Entrance Test) and the second was GATE. I performed well in both of them and received a call letter from the university. During the counselling, I showed my class 10th & 12th scorecard, graduation degree, WBUT PGET scorecard, and GATE scorecard. Once my documents were verified, I had to pay the fee.

Remarks:

Before joining Mtech in Computer Science and Data Processing (Mathematics department) in IIT Kharagpur I completed M.Sc in Mathematics from IIT Madras. At that time wanted to go for industry jobs so I decided to pursue M.Tech course related to computer science. Specifically, I am interested in Machine learning and statistical data analysis. That time I had two options either IIT Madras (Mtech in Industrial mathematics and scientific computing) or IIT Kharagpur (Mtech in CSDP). I preferred IIT Kgp and joined it.

The best college in view of infrastructure and as well as faculty is Narula Institute of Technology. That is the main reason for opting this college.

One should qualify in GATE or state level PGET Exam to get into this college for Master of Technology degree. The admission process generally goes on from august- september every year. One should qualify for the above written exam and do call the admission desk or directly walk into the college for the admission.
