Remarks :

We need to clear the team examination to get admission to sree chithra thermal college. We should have a good rank to get admission in computer science engineering to get admission in electronics is easy compared to computer science engineering. The application form will be uploaded to the site of the Kerala entrance commission 2 months before the examination. The overall procedure of admission is a little bit difficult you need to read all the guidelines.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose electronics because it deals with both hardware and software. the student-faculty ratio is not good because there are about 70 students in the class sometimes it becomes unmanageable for the teachers. the quality of education is good with good lab facilities. the term examinations are the internal examination it is easy to score marks in the internal examinations these exams prepare us to tackle the main semester examination.

Class Size : 63Course Fees : INR 100000 per year

Placement Experience :

from the sixth semester starting, we can sit for interviews with different companies with our skills. the main recruiters of the college are TCS, Infosys, and many other companies about 150 offers are made each year the alumni network is very good so there are many placements offers. the highest package is about 10lacs per year and the average package is 5 lakhs to 7 lakhs per annum

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

the fee structure for the NRI is about 1 lakh per year and for the merit, the seat is 45000 per year and for the management, the seat is about 75000 per year. there are many scholarships available for many categories and there is the scholarship named fee waiver scholarship which waives the whole tuition fee of the college.

Campus Life :

the campus life at sct is very good the seniors organize many fests for the students which are very frequent the main annual fest of sct is called the cult a way which lasts for three whole days. all the core and noncore books are available in the library the membership is free. the sports facility is inadequate. no ground for football and other activities. there are many clubs for every branch in the college which are active.

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
