Remarks :

I have attempted keam which is necessary for admission to sree chithra thirunal college I had the rank of ten thousand and I got admission to a merit seat. the application will be available on the Kerala government entrance examination website 2 months before the commencement of the examination. admission through keam is an easy method.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I was interested in computer science due to less rank I got in electronics and communication I chose sct college because this college has high placement and electronics deals with both hardware and software environments. There are two batches for electronics and communication in sct each class contains 60 students due to lateral entry admission now the teacher-student ratio is 1:63. all the faculties are highly dedicated and supportive. there will be two internal exams prior to the main semester examinations.

Class Size : 63Course Fees : INR 36000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure of sct depends upon the category of admission. The state merit students have a fee of Rs.36,000 per year with extra charges and management. Students have fees of Rs.68,000 per year. There are many reservations for categories like OEC BH etc. Many students with a higher rank get a university scholarship, named the fee waiver scheme.

Campus Life :

The annual cultural fest of Sree Chitra Tirunal College of engineering is called the cult away. There are many tech fests and Minnie inter College fests. Sct college has inadequate sports facilities due to a lack of ground and a proper auditorium, there are many social clubs, namely NSS and many other department-wise clubs named CEST for the electronics department csi for the computer science department.

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
