Remarks :

Maximum 12th pass from West Bengal board with overall 60% marks. From college, I found an application form but now online mode is also available. Yes, there are many reservation benefits for sc and st candidates. No, the BC college admission process is so good.

Course Curriculum Overview :

My dream is to be an accountant so that is why I choose accountancy honors. The student ratio is good there is a lot of boys and girl. The commerce teachers are very good and educated and the way of teaching is very good. We are always excited to go to college to learn chapters of accounts and taxation.. if we have any problems in maths and accounts the teacher always helps us and supports us. We are yearly batches but now the university started a semester system. If you fully concentrate on regular classes then you can get easily a good problem.

Class Size : 500Course Fees : INR 3500 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The yearly fee is 3500 and the university fees are different. There are Swami Vivekananda scholarships and Nabanna and many scholarship opportunities for sc and st candidates. And the college faculty help us with financial problems.

Campus Life :

The annual fest is a freshers' welcome program and many NCC programs and blood donation camps. Yes, BC college library is so big and there are very books and journals available there. Yes, there are many amenities like tree plantation programs, drawings program any many more. Cricket and football are the main NCC. And many more games for students. Yes, we have a social group that works on social activities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

First thing that influenced me to choose this course would be the well qualified professors, their teaching methodology and their experience, it was a great experience being taught by them. The next thing would be the fees structure, the college provides the same courses available at other colleges but at a very affordable fees. The one thing I'd like the college to work on is the regularity of the professors for the classes.

Reputation of the college was an absolute attraction, absence of other alternative with such high reputation in the city was an important factor, and my brother had been to the same college and heard great things about the college so always looked up to going to the same college and having a good experience

Remarks:

Here's what is good about college. 1. Brand Value. For a B.A. / B.Com/B.Sc degree in India, Xavier's carries as much weight as Delhi University. 2. Great Professors (along with a few not so great ones). Some people are stars such as PPG (Eco), Sumona Ma'am (Law),Shivaji(Marketing) Samrat Roy (B.Com) and Uma Ma'am(Biotech). 3. Academic Grilling. Xavier's Kolkata is perhaps the only college I know where everyone attends almost every class. Missing class directly brings down your CGPA. 4. It helps you become a morning person. First class begins at 6 a.m. Sharp.
