Remarks :

Graduation must be completed before applying, no matter what course you took in your graduation. There are no age criteria. The application forms are out in May or June every year. The admission is entrance based. Reserved seats in admission for OBC, SC, ST, and PWD. Delhi University's Law faculty administration works smoothly.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Since my childhood, I was inclined towards the law because I have the interest to know about how the law system in our country works. There are approx 3000 seats in the law faculty. It is a coed college. The ratio of boys and girls is likely to be equal to each other. The faculty are highly educated, they did Ph.D., and some faculty did LLM or Ph.D. from abroad. Two semesters are there in a year, you can pass by studying normally.

Internships Opportunities :

Big law firms come to offer placements like K K Luthra law firm. K R legal firms and many more prestigious law firms are there. Improving your CV and doing an internship can increase your chance to get selected.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees of the law faculty of Delhi University are affordable, it's like 4-5k per year. Many scholarships are offered by Delhi University and benefits are also given to the reserved category. Many law firms come every year to select candidates. Placements are there.

Campus Life :

Annual fests are held in February or March every year. Many big stars come to perform. The campus has a huge library with sitting. You can get any book you want related to law. Even there is also a central library nearby for all subjects and has access for Delhi University students. Classes are large and spacious. There are so many events held every month. There are so many societies like human rights society, legal aid society, placement assessment society, and many more.

Other Applied Colleges

Chandigarh University - [CU] | Bachelor of Laws [L.L.B.]

Chandigarh University is very much far away from my hometown and also law from Delhi University is better than it

Placement Experience:

Speaking the truth, if one is considering placement in law courses here on this campus then it's not the right place. Indeed there are placements here too but not as per the expectations rather students do well in off-campus placements than going for on-campus placements. With an average placement of 3-4 lacs here on this campus if you still are inclined towards the same.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Doing law was a very instant decision of mine I got an interest in law during my preparation for DU -JAT and then I realized why not go for both professional couses in one go. Faculty members at gibs are very supportive and friendly they keep on motivate the students through different teaching methods. If you are at gibs you don't have to worry much about the term exams because the college prepares you for the exam from the starting they take the class test after the completion of every unit and then the internal is also there. I faced no difficulty in preparing myself for the term exams as I went through the learning process and what I have to do is only revision.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are not the biggest strength for the law department. The rate is too low. Although they offer great internships starting from 3rd year. But campus placements aren't that efficient. Although they're expanding it now and working on it.
