Remarks :

The admission process is through cap rounds. The entrance exam conducted for the admission process is Mht-Cet & Jee main. For the application of Food Technology, the PCM group is compulsory. The application process is done through the official Cet admission website. I got Ebc through the government.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose this course because I had an interest in Food Technology. For this course, there are a total of 8 semesters, in which each semester has 5 theory subjects and 3 Laboratories. The total strength of the department is 60. The department faculty is very supportive. Every faculty is M Tech qualified and experienced in teaching. There are 2 exams each term which is Mid-semester & another End semester.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 70000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

In the institute, the College department gives many internship opportunities for students. Students got many opportunities for internships in their respective streams. Food technology students got opportunities as engineer trainees in the food industry. Those who don't want internships can also do their projects in the department.

Placement Experience :

For campus placements, the 7th-semester students become eligible for campus placements. There are good opportunities for campus placements at this institute. There are 9-10 companies which are visited for campus recruitment in 2021-22. The highest package offered is between 7-9 lakh/year and the average package offered is between 4-5 lakhs/year. 60% of students are got placed in 2021-22. Those who can't get placed are doing off-campus jobs in their respective core companies.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

This is an autonomous institute. For the Food Technology course, you have to pay 120000 through the management quota &700000 through Obs & general quota. Due to autonomy, the fee structure is a little bit high. I got an internship opportunity in the food industry through campus.

Campus Life :

In the institute, the annual festival is organised in the month of December named 'SNEHA" & Other festivals are also organised such as Shivjayanti & Ganesh festivals. Sports are organised every year in the month of January. A club such as 'Chitraka' is run by students.

Hostel Facilities :

In the institute, there were hostel facilities for both girls. The mess is available for both hostels and the quality of the food is good. The bathroom and toilet facilities are available in each room for the girls' hostel. Both girls' hostel and boys' hostel are affordable and cost 20000-25000 per year. The only problem in the boys' hostel is, it is not well maintained by the hostel rector. Other than hostels there are many options for histel rooms outside the college which are well managed by room owners.

Placement Experience:

From 7 semester the students are allowed to sit in placements The companies like TCs And capegeminis is common for mass recruitment and new companies like Accenture also visisted And total 200+ offers were made in placements Highest package this year was 21 lakhs in IT sector and the average package is 3-4 lakhs. Only 60% students get placed. I am going to do business after graduation as i dont trust college as it would give me placement

Our beautiful College

Placement Experience:

From the third-year sixth semester our college taking campus placement or internship programs. In the past, our college has got an average of 4 LPA packages and the highest 12 or 14 LPA packages. There are so many companies like TCS, COGNIGENT, WIPRO, etc. Our College gives 95-98% placement in engineering. My plan is to do a job in a data scientist post in the company and give my best to that company that's all.

Is RMD Sinhgad School of Engineering a good place for seeking admission

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their last year. There are many good companies that come and take part in the placement drives. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Accenture, Capgemini etc. come here for placements. The highest package in my understanding was about 30 lakhs as studied and searched by me. Many students secure packages above 3.5 lakhs in our college. About 90% of students get placed through the drives. My plan is also to take a good job from placement and then do my masters.

My Engineering Life Review in this college

Admission:

I got admission through CAP Round as directed by AICTE and DTE, the process is of 3 rounds until you choose a college and finalize it. Admission dates for FE students start from around May-June period as college opens at around 15 July approx. And Students need to bring all documents attested and submit the original 10th- 12th documents in the college and after completing the graduation. He/She can collect the originals from the college after collecting LC from the college.
