Remarks :

Eligibility is through the KCET exam, management seats are also available. Application is available on the online college website, application dates are mentioned in the college application form which is received from the KCET board.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I'm interested in an electronics-based field, so I opted ECE course. Interaction between students and teachers is good, teachers are so helpful. The teaching is very nice and well-experienced. Internals will be conducted every month, and at last semester exam is conducted. Exams are not much easy, but we can pass the subject with good scores.

Class Size : 16Course Fees : INR 102896 per year

Fees and Financial Aid :

The college fee Structure is 1.3 lakh per year through KCET, and the management seat is up to 4.5 lakh. Scholarship like NSP, and SSP is available. I'm still pursuing 4th year, and placements are going well with top companies like TCS, and Infosys.

Campus Life :

Vertex will be conducted every year, and cultural fest and events will be conducted. The College library is present of lots of books, they were very useful and consist of academic content. Sports event also occurs and our college students participated in intercollege competition in cricket, and football. Social groups like dance club, and music club is also there.

A Brief Review of My College (New Horizon College of Engineering)

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our college (NHCE) is affiliated to VTU but it's autonomous college. I like mechanical engineering and my father is also a mechanical engineer which inspired me to mechanical engineering. It is a bit outdated, expect more applications of the concepts. As I said we have exams every month, the frequency is good and the difficulty of exams I mid to easy range.

Experience at new horizon.

Placement Experience:

From 4th semester onwards students are eligible for the placement. Alots of companies like VISA,IBM,Accenture etc2 visited our college. The highest package recorded as of 2023 was from VISA offering 32.2 lakhs. 90 percent of the students get placed. After I get my degree I will work for awhile in the corporate world and starting up my own business on the side.

Experience through words

Placement Experience:

Many top MNC's come to the college. Recently the placement opportunities has increased when compared to our batchs.Companies like TCS, Wipro, IBM, Infosys, SLK, Mphasis etc had given us the opportunity. The average package offer was 3.5lpa or 4lpa. The highest package known to me was 10lpa for a CS student not for us. The placements begins either at the end of 6th sem or in the beginning of 7th sem. Almost 60-70% of us were placed by the end of graduation but due to recession the onboarding was very late. Waited for more than a year to get onboarded.
