Remarks :

Eligibility of this course is above 70%marks in plus two with B+ or B grade in maths physics and chemistry. the admission process is divided into 3, 1)merit 2)management 3)NRI .management and NRI quota needs only participation in any of the entrance exams either jee or team, and a student with 70% above marks in plus two. I joined this college by management quota.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I had chosen this course by seeing the future opportunities but this course is so hard to study, if we work hard we can easily achieve the goal else will get flop. there are only a few students who were selected for EEE which makes me unsatisfied but some teaching facilities are good and some behave behind us like those who teach students in primary classes which makes us uncomfortable.

Class Size : 16Course Fees : INR 50000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

I was now graduating as a third-year student in this college so I don't know completely about internships then too college provides some industrial visits to nearby substations and also shows some auto electrical expos and classes

Placement Experience :

There is a placement cell in college, so they alert the other placement offers conducted by companies online and also provide some other online placements.80% of students are selecting some streams due to this and the college is not providing direct placement.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure is different for different quotas For management, it's near 55000/- And Nri with same fees but for merit, it's below 35000/- and the college is providing scholarships for students who got good marks.

Campus Life :

Saaya and Aathma are two fests, where one is arts and one is technical. classrooms are normal in infrastructure with a medium facility not at all good and also not at all bad. extracurricular activities held in colleges are evening games like football, volleyball Etc and the social clubs are NSS (National Service Scheme) which runs under students and with the help of college

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
