Remarks :
Management has been Poor in the College Strictly regarding the fees and Exams related things. Any student who fails to submitt advance fees of next semester isnt allowed to sit in the semester exams. moreocer for 500-1000 rupees, teachers from within the college will help students to cheat in exams either by providing answers or by leaking the questions 15 minutes prior to exams.
Entrance Preview :
There was no particular guidance provided to me at the time of Admissions so i decided by myself to look out for Mechanical Engineering and found this College to be suitable.
Course Curriculum Overview :
To be a mechanical Engineer, all you have to do is to study. the course known as mother of engineering offers various prospects for professional development. practicals are needed more than theory to be successful in your studies and that is why choosing this college will land you into trouble because there are no proper facilities for such things. all you be doing is, Bunking Labs.
Internships Opportunities :
College is not Responsible for any type of Internships / Placements for the students. you yourselves is the creator of your Future so you yourselves have to find them for you. i couldnt find something good so ended up at coaching centres.
Placement Experience :
placement isnt Provided to the students of Mechanical Department. only CSE branch & IT braches has Perks of placement. but job opportunities in local area of College is Very Good. Technical Profiles are easy to get at 3-4 lack per annum. Some Local firms Gives Preferance to this Institute only.
College Events :
Saraswati pooja, annual fuction, sports meet, Freshers Party, lohri and Farewell Are the Some of the Common Festivls which were celebrated by the Students only. Groups And Communities are made for various preparations. College Spends money For Fest and Students Take Cares of the preparations of the Festivals.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Fee Structure is on average level. upto 1 Lakh rupees per annum is the tuition Fees for Mechanical Students. Various others Braches have lower fees which can be submitted in two semesters. College, However itself recovers Scholarships of the deserved Students by itself. college helps those students who are economically weak by getting there scholarships by there respective state Governments.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
College does not offers Scholarships however it does file documents for the scholarships on the behalf of students so as to support them economically. Loan Facility is offered by Indian Over-seas Bank for the Students studying in the Institute. Special Preferance are Given to Students of Bihar For Scholarship Facility.
Campus Life :
Campus life was as awesome as it should be. there no such opportunity which cant be used to develop yourself. Students From J&K, Nepal, north East India are present so as there culture. Punjabis and Rest of Indians For the Major Percentage of students. Well Equipped with labs and sports facility, the college is offering a good platform to any one who is willing to work on it.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel facilities are all good except problems with the food Served to students. however the area near by offers cheap PGs, and Foods which is Better than Hostel. An Average of 5000-10,000 is enough to Survive since the Place is A lot Feasible For Students.
Alumni/Alumna :
There is No Such Things like Juniour/Seniour. Coollege was the plae where every other guy will respect you regardless of gender, seneourity or anything. the Faculty however will leave an strong impact on students since they are the most qualified proffesionals of there field.
Exam Structure :
Exams Structure Was Always As good As Schools. If you arent having Back Papers you will be so cool during the examinations. Satisfactory Gapings in between the dates as well as self centre college it was. though being in punjab the place is under good atmosphere.
Admission :
to get admission in this college was very simple. all you have to arrange for is your fee. seats are always vacant here. nominal fee will be charged as a part of registration as well as one semester fee should be submitted and then admissions will be given on management quota seats.
Faculty :
Faculty keeps changing according to need since most of them are students of M.tech (Pursuing from same college) who teaches the students of b.tech. department of Mechanical has a very good faculty/alumuni but rest of Departments Are at there Worst Level
