My personal Experience at KIT's college of Engineering.

Remarks :

The admission process was based on the MHTCET percentile. And through CAP round the seats are allotted to the eligible students. You have to select some of the colleges you wish to get admitted into and through the CAP round, you'll get the seats. The application form for the CAP round can be filled out on its official website. The documents required for the admission process can be found on our official website. I took admission as a General category student.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I opted for electronics and telecommunications because I'll get to learn about hardware and this will help me to better understand the concepts of software so having both knowledge gives me an edge over others. The faculty is really helpful and you can clarify your doubts during any college hours. Professors are very qualified with either master's or Ph.D. and have experience of more than 10 years. The exams consist of ISE MSE and ESE. The exams are conducted at regular intervals. If you get your concepts clarified and practice hard then it's easy to score higher.

Internships Opportunities :

Our college has many tie-ups with different industries to provide students with the right internship opportunities. And also students may opt for other internships. It's up to the students if they want to work as an intern at a college tie-up company or other companies to which he/she has applied to.

Placement Experience :

Campus placements usually start when you enter the 4th year. Talking about this year a few days ago around 200 students were placed on the same day out of which 63 students belonged to the Electronics branch. Companies like TCS, BNY Mellon, and many more visit our college. The highest package offered was 41LPA by Adobe.

Fees and Financial Aid :

You'll receive every scholarship declared by the government for technical education. And there are different facilities provided by the college such as financial aid or education loan to provide students with the necessary financial help.

Campus Life :

There are various events organized by the college. Meraki is an annual gathering wherein students portray their talents such as dancing, acting, and many more. Apart from that, we have Abhigyan where every year many speakers are invited to e lighten students, Ranveer Allhabadia also visited our college for this event. The Central Library will provide you with a variety of books to fulfill your needs. Classrooms have a digital board. Annual Sports contain cricket football basketball etc. Apart from all these social groups like NSS, and Rotaract club are present.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Course Structure at SLRTCE is well structured and covering core electronics and computer science concepts, but it could include more industry oriented skills and emerging technology. It provides good foundation for real world applications and higher studies exams held twice per semester and updates to the curriculum and interactive teaching methods would further improve it's relevance and effectiveness.
