Remarks :

I had enrolled on this college through the Government quota. As I went for admission, the process was quite nice. As every department has different admission. My department Biomedical engineering has 60 seats.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Each year has 2 semesters.Totally for 4 years there will be 8 semesters. Teaching was good. You should self learn some of the things. Based on your understanding and learning it will be the level to pass.

Class Size : 47Course Fees : INR 36000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

There are several opportunities for doing internship at various companies.They can be play a major role in companies. They can even do internships at IITs, NITs, IIMs.Bosch also provide a good internships.

Placement Experience :

From 5th semester itself students are eligible for placements.There are numerous company visited our college such as infosys ,HCL ,WIPRO ,GE , PHILIPS , ACCENTURE, L&T ,COGZINANT ,CAPGEMINI ,TCS,Craftsman.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There are several scholarships avail for the students. I am a sports person and I get a fees wavier for the outstanding performance. There are also scholarships for department toppers and also Alumni scholarship for selected students.

Campus Life :

In our college there are various social groups and clubs such as Tamil mandram, Fine arts club, phorartz club.There also clubs for each departments,for Biomedical engineering there are Bioelixirz, BMESI, BMSOC, EDC

Hostel Facilities :

I opted hostel stay. I have to travel long distance from my home to college. So I opted hostel for my convenience. The hostel was located inside the college campus itself So no need to worry. Hostel was located at peaceful location.

Great College to Lean Good Engineering Knowledge

Placement Experience:

From the Final year last semester, the students are eligible for campus placement. For mechanical there are a lot of core companies that come for placements. Also, even IT Companies take some of our mechanical students. The percentage of the students who get placed is 90% on average. Some of the core companies are LPT(Lakshmi Precision Tools), SAEW, NVH, PDS, S.S.FASTENERS, RENAULT NISSAN MITSUBISHI. The highest salary package offered is 5 lakhs per annum and on average is 3 lakhs per annum.

From semester 6, they will provide campus placement offers. It depends on the students. Many companies will be visiting the college every year. Infosys, IBM, tata, reliance, and many more top companies will be visiting. We may get enormous offers from companies. The highest package is 12laks and average package is 2laks. Nearly every single student will be placed, except some slow learners and who are not mentally prepared one's. My plans after my degree are to get a deserved job and should be profitable.
