Remarks :

To take admission in M.E computer science you must have a Bachelor's degree in engineering with a percentile of a minimum of 60. you can apply online through the cucat Chandigarh university site and after applying you must have given an online scholarship test. The fee for this course is 45000. and the applications open from January to 31 July. No need for any improvement

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course because I was interested to do M.E in CSE AIML. The faculty at Chandigarh university is more than 1000. Mostly the teachers who teach us are Ph.D. scholars and many are having 5-10 years of experience. There are 2 term exams they are not very easy nor very difficult to pass.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

For some courses like Bachelors courses, the fee is very much which a poor or a middle-class person cannot afford. But there are some scholarship schemes which you can avail yourself of by giving a scholarship test or there are some other scholarship criteria which anyone can avail themselves. To continue with a scholarship one must have to maintain a CGPA of more than 7.5.

Campus Life :

There are many fests at the university almost every month there are some fests which are going on. The biggest fest that happens in October and November is the CU fest every year. There are various books and journals in the libraries. Also, there are various sports clubs and other clubs that anyone interested can join. There are various social groups one as CUIANS and Chandigarh university maintained by the students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think the course curriculum could have been better because it had subjects and topics that we have already covered in bachelors so there was no point for them in the masters. But few subjects were new to me and i had to do a lot of work done to get through them.

My Genuine Review

Placement Experience:

placement in last 2 has decreased. less companies are coming to campus. and the companies coming to campus ask for 7 or above CGPA throughout whil make student not eligible for placement... many students have good skill but because of criteria they are not allowed to sit in placement other thing about placment is you have toh oay extra 10k to sit in placement drives. and if you got selected in one company you will not be able to sit in other drive...

Placement Experience:

the placement cell at the Centre for Master of engineering Studies and Planning is available here. our collage works So hard to ensure that the students from every batch get an opportunity to intern at some reputed firm( be it research or corporate) as well as are placed well at the end of the course. Most of our final placements are in the form of PPO. Moreover, the batch strength isn't huge, so the probability of any person not getting placed on completion of the course is very less. So it is high percentage about 60-70%. My plans after getting the degree is to take admission in any good company i got. There are pretty much availability for jobs so its so good job opportunities after this degree.

More than 650 plus selection was made by more than 100 companies and the salary was offered to these students with the minimum package of Rs. 5LPA. More than 100 recruitments were done by more than 25 companies offering a minimum package of Rs.10 LPA. 50 top MNC's gave the offer letters to more than 500 students.
