A college you can opt for

Bhavan’s College, Andheri I have applied for BMM which is a bachelor's in Mass media. The admission was based on merit, and the first cutoff was 92, we got 3 merit lists and I got my name in the 3rd one. There is a quota system for which you have to submit the cast certificate. Though I’ve applied in the open (general) category. The procedure is very simple, you have to fill out the online form from Bhavan's website and as soon as the dates are out of the list then you can check out from the official website itself. If your name is mentioned in the merit list then the college will ask you to come to college and submit your documents.

I’ve chosen this course as I was planning to be a journalist. The faculty in Bhavan's college are very nice and helpful. Some of my professors also worked with reputed news channels. There is a lot of practical work. Also, IV (informational visits) are done from time to time. There is a total of 6 semesters, so basically every year 2 semesters are conducted. And the course is for 3 academic years. To pass the exams just prepare as your Professors direct you.

The fee for every year is approx 17k to 18k. They also provide scholarships for which there are exams conducted for students. They also provide concessions for travelling. No campus recruitment is done. And no job opportunities are provided by the college but they will surely suggest you some job and internship opportunities.

“Exposure” was the first fest I’ve attended in the college. Which have provided a vast field to explore and to showcase our creativity and skills. All the books on Academics are available in the library which you can borrow. There are a lot of sports activities available basketball, baseball, football, etc. Also, RSS training is done. There is also Bhavan's nature club on the campus itself. Lots of social clubs are created by teachers for students, which are operated by the students.
