College VIMS

Remarks :

Actually, the admission process was through agents. An interview was done by our principal and eligibility for the course was 50 percent in science stream for your +2exams. we can directly apply for the course but most of the admissions are through agents because most of the students are from other states so everything regarding application forms everything will be provided by the college with the help of agents and they will tell us to visit the college on particular dates for admission purpose for checking our certificates. Ya direct admissions are not non by all so better if agents are not in between can reduce the money.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose this course Bsc renal dialysis because it is one of the most demanding courses and also in the future, we will have a lot of opportunities to work. And also it will help me to be independent and learn about several patients' life situations and I will be able to provide them with Better care .our college faculties are excellent at monitoring and guiding our students they will be always available whenever we need their help and they are very efficient to handle their professions and they help us with short notes and help us with examination to make us improve our knowledge. About 10 to 15 students are joining each year for dialysis. regular periodic tests are being conducted twice a month regarding University rules best of two internal marks and yearly once final exams are conducted.

Internships Opportunities :

No campus placement is offered here. should search for our own jobs or can join our own hospitals because our students are given first priority in joining our hospitals. the task to complete is our final exams to be cleared without backlogs.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Actually, it's a bit costly to study this course but it is worth studying. it costs nearly 4 lacs to complete our annual fees. There are no scholarships or any other financial benefits given from the college side. No campus placements no stipend.

Campus Life :

No functions or programs are conducted in our college no college activities no club activities no sports nothing available. good library with a wide variety of books and knowledge. Given more importance to studies other than extracurricular activities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Faculties gives us notes and we're having clinical postings everyday, that helps to interact with patients, makes us more confident in practical skills and helps us to deal with all kind of patients. We're having 3 internals, with regular class test. In 1st year we're having Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Pathology with two language subjects such as Kannada and English. By learning Kannada it helps us to deal patients. 1st year subjects actually makes aware of basic medical things even though if it is not required for our course.
