  • The professional sources has uniforms with is a disadvantage

Course Curriculum Overview :

Since my MBBS plans didn't work out, I had very limited options to choose but choosing this course was not a mistake. Since this course deals with radiography we get to handle a lot of scans in the hospitals during our postings

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

So the whole course during the batch of 2020 was around 400000, so we are given monthly postings which really helps us to to be well equipped with the procedures in the hospital. We get to perform them as well. As far as campus employment there is non so far.

Campus Life :

My life in acharya has been the best 3 years of my life I met many people from different parts of the country and even out of country. It has the best learning hub We have the biggest college fest in Bangalore called HABBA where we have a 1 whole month of fun and games followed by 3 last days called dj night where we have fun till 12:00am in the campus We often have cocurricular activities like life skills where they come and teach us about what we requires when we search for jobs how to handle etc.

Admission :

Admission process was very easy as they take merit base There are no such entrance exams that are required for the course You just need 10th and 12th with 50% in biology physics and chemistry Since I did my admissions during covid 19 I was unable to come to Bangalore and do my admissions offline but I managed to do it online which was a very very easy alternative for people living out of state or even so out of country

Faculty :

The teachers here is AIAHS are very helpful and understanding. They provide the best notes for us, they make our study materials very easy and very very easily catchable. They even provide postings in hospitals which is helpful in the clinical side of view

Course Curriculum Overview:

Faculties gives us notes and we're having clinical postings everyday, that helps to interact with patients, makes us more confident in practical skills and helps us to deal with all kind of patients. We're having 3 internals, with regular class test. In 1st year we're having Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Pathology with two language subjects such as Kannada and English. By learning Kannada it helps us to deal patients. 1st year subjects actually makes aware of basic medical things even though if it is not required for our course.

Placement Experience:

And yeah placement is there for engineering and management students. Companies like byjus and more are recruiting students from our college. I don't know well about that as I am from an allied health course.

Admission:

Admissions at AIHS, is an organized team work from the Admissions Cell to assist all applicants and aspirants on a first come first serve basis. However, merit matters at all stages of Admissions Process. Besides the university norms, the institute prefers students with an excellent track record in academics, cultural activities and sports too. Flair for management and leadership shall be an added advantage.

Placement Experience:

Career Counselling at AIHS is not limited to counsellors alone. Career Counselling and guidance are offered to students by class coordinators and faculty too. Students are provided insights and support through out the academics in the institution and during clinical postings. The clinical postings are designed in such a way that thr students of Physiotherapy, Medical Lab Technology, Imaging Technology, MHA and Nursing courses get exposures at Government Hospital, various grades of Private Hospitals and Corporate Hospitals. Therefore, the students get expertise in handling patients of all income groups and all layers of the society when compared to students of Institutions that have their own hospitals, where their exposures are limited.
