College k din

Remarks :

Overall my college administration was good, nice and friendly. And I had a memorable college life.

Entrance Preview :

I qualified in COMEDK exam. I scored 9499 rank in entrance exam. N I opted for this college in 2nd round counselling.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is good, as it is prescribed by VTU, approx 200 colleges follow the same curriculum, and cover all the important aspect of a particular branch of engineering. There was a hectic class schedule i.e. daily full day class, n course includes all the many other related subjects also like environment science, engineering economics, engineering management...etc.

Internships Opportunities :

No, college does not provide internship, instead if u r interested than u can go for any internship, college will give permission of doing that and extra leave for that also.

Placement Experience :

Placement is approx. 100%. I think each and every eligible students got placed in different comapnies, MNCs, Startup companies etc. But there in very less opportunities for mechanical and electrical branch student of getting placed in Core Industries. They are also getting job in Private IT sector

College Events :

In my four year experience of college days many events took place some of them are:- Annual tech. Fest( TATVA) Cultural Fest Ethnic day College day Visist of our former president Late. APJ ABDUL KALAM. Kalabhageerathi completion. And many more quizzes an different activities.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure was the little bit expensive. It was less for Karnataka domicile students but it was approx 4 times for outsider students. So it was expensive. Every semester there was exam fee, and if ur are going for revaluation of ur exam paper then u need to pay a huge amount for revaluation which is refundable on some conditions.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Yes some sort of competition on university level was there, interested students was taking the benefits, sports scholarship , academic scholarship, financial scholarship, and many more was there.

Campus Life :

College life was awesome, classes, friends, breaks, hangouts with friends, hectic exam time, lab exams, games and sports, doing projects, spending time in cafeteria, I am missing those time. There were almost equal no. Of boys and girls combining all branches and all year students.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel was good, I lived in hostel for two years and it was nice experience. Rooms was clean and spacious, it was sharing depending on sizes of rooms, each day every single room was properly cleaned, washroom was also cleaned. Food quality was good, south Indian flavour was there but nice and hygienic food.

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes, there is a college alumni portal named BNMIT AlmaConnect. And interested students take part in that and it is really helpful. Because listening others experience really help us to overcome our hurdles.

Exam Structure :

Talking about exam structure it's was normal as every colleges and universities have. There are 2 semesters in one year, having 7 to 8 subjects in each semesters, in this way in 4 years total 64 university subject exam and approx 64*3 internal exams and lots of practical exams was there.

Admission :

I went for 2nd round counselling , and I opted for this college n mechanical branch , then i got acknowledgement letter for admission, n after that I took admission in the college next day only. I explored the college campus which is nice, cafeteria was good. Location of college was best point. It is located in central part of Bangalore. N having each facility nearby.

Faculty :

Coming to faculty, they was really nice and helpful, as I was from North India and my college was in Bangalore( south India) instead I faced no any problem in any field of my college life. They treat each and every student equally, even they try to listen each challenges of students and tried to overcome that.

Placement Experience:

Placements are around 90 percent in the Computer Science course with average package of 600000 and highest package of 5100000 till date. A great number of companies visit the college for hiring making it a great opportunity to the students to showcase their capabilities to the recruiters. My plans are to pursue civil services and serve the country as soon as I complete my degree.

Placement Experience:

From 7 semesters students are eligible to attend the placement and on our campus, we have fewer placement opportunities compared to other colleges. need to improve the placement program in our college in most of the companies coming top BPO and some of the students got selected to the good companies also but in our time replacement was not I'll expect. The highest package and average package of components and I really don't know about that and the percentage of students getting placements maybe around 10 to 15% and I didn't select in placement after the completion of my degree. I joined some courses after so many months I got the job.

Through the common entrance test conducted after pre-University board for all students aspiring for medical and engineering students, later rankings are announced based on marks secured and applying for colleges starts from cet board and seats are confirmed and admissions are opened at that college.
