Remarks :

The college is excellent in performance and also students friendly.This college is a great platform for every one to express their thoughts and develop their abilities. The climate; the ambience and also the location of the college is so amazing. This college is within the city and all required centers are at a reliable distance from this college. In simple words.. I love my college

Entrance Preview :

Kerala Entrance Examination For medical allied courses (KEAM) Mark obtained - 796/960 Veterinary college of Mannuthy is well famous for its excellence in Animal health sector.Thus I opted this college. The admission in here was purely based on merit and rank obtained in the entrance examination

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course is really good in case of advanced studies. The course provides a vast option of research which includes topics like animal genetics; nutrition; anatomy; physiology; biochemistry; pathology; parasitology; microbiology; extension; public health; pharmacology; clinical medicine; preventive medicine; surgery; gynaecology; and so on

Internships Opportunities :

The college provides an internship of 6 months after the 5 year course. It is a compulsory one and gives the student a great exposure to the local people and the realtime field problems. The internship is done within the state and an allowance of ₹20,000 is alloted per month throughout the internship period

Placement Experience :

The job opportunities are immense. It includes Govt sector; teaching profession; Field practitioner; insurance companies; private pet hospitals etc. The students showing excellent performance in the curriculum are even getting job placements in foreign countries within their period of study

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee structure is feasible for every student. The fees is paid as per semester wise. The basic fee is ₹9,900 and with some extra fees like library; University Development fee etc, it Amy go upto ₹12,500. No separate fees are there for labs and examinations.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

College offers a lot of scholarship for the students. They provide special scholarships for those who are economically backward. Also scholarship based on merit basis are also there. Various scholarship includes e-grantz; moma etc

Campus Life :

The campus life in their college is extra ordinary. Eventhough this is a professional college, it has all the freedom of an arts college. College supports a lot in extra curriculum which includes arts; sports; athletics etc. The faculties helps us to boost our extracurricilum and also gives us alot of opportunities also

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel is spacious,neat and tide. There is no shortage of water. Electricity is back up by providing generators. Wi-Fi is free in the hostel. A maximum of 3 persons are there in the hostel. The hostel also have a recreation room, reading room and a TV room Mess is also clean and spacious. Food is delicious and the workers are very friendly. Mess secrateries are choosen from the hostlers which causes no disputes.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

The relationship with seniors is so pure in love ; affection and respect. This is one of the college which is 100% ragging free. The seniors are very friendly and they shares their experiences which has a great importance in our future. They also help us in studies also

Exam Structure :

Semester wise system is followed under this college. Each semester will have a midterm and an internal examination.Afer two semesters there will be an external examination which will be valued by professionals from other Universities. The minimum pass mark is scoring 50% in the external examination

Admission :

The admission was as per the notification of entrance exam commissioner. The allotment to the college will occur as per merit basis. Colleges are allotted as per our higher options and eligibility. The students are requested to join the college within the specified date and are informed to pay the course fee to get admission in the prescribed college.

Faculty :

Faculties are highly qualified professionals. They are eminent in their respective topic. They teachers with utmost dedication and interest. All the facilities who teaches are veterinary doctors with a basic BVSc degree. Higher facilities are having PG and Ph.D. in specific studies. They are admitted into the college by the examination provider by Public Service Commissioner.

The main thing which influence me to take the course is the love for the animals. The teaching methods is very good but the teaching staff is very limited in number . In a whole year there are total 4 numbers of examination.
