Remarks :
College is full of positive vibes and it is surrounded by hills giving you a option of some tracking in the college itself. Hostel is withing 200 meter distance of college , and thats the best thing.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum is lengthy which runs around 5.5 years. And about exams there are mid term exams and internal exams in each semester and external exams or board exams at the end of each year. Practicals exams are also there in internal and externals exams , not in mid term exams. And you have to attend classes also during mid term exam.
Placement Experience :
Yes my college offers internship and a good amount is paid. Its 20000 per month. From new batches or admissions internship duration is increased from 6 months to 1 year. And some of private company or Hopital officials also used to come for placements.
College Events :
A lot of festivals are celebrated along with other interclass and intercollege fest. And interesting thing is that we celebrate hostel day and class day also. Festivals like - Onam, Vishu , Christmas, Eid etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
yes its feasible as the college is a government college. Mainly funded by state and central both governments. Per year fees is around 40000 along with some other minor donations. Hostel offers compulsory mess food also , which costs around 3500 ? per month ( average ).
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Scholarships are provided by state government to students of Kerala only but if you are here via common entrance test and you have taken admission outside your state than central government will provide you scholarship which is around 3000 ? per month.
Campus Life :
Labs are newly build with fully modern and automated equipments. Our college has Cricket , Football , Volleyball , basketball , badminton courts and grounds. Time to time interclass and intercollege compitions are organised.
Hostel Facilities :
Yes i am a Hosteler and facilities are really good here. Hostel is newly build and there are around 89 rooms in hostel. There are seperate girls and Pg hostels also. Mess food is compulsory for hostelers.
Alumni/Alumna :
Yes Seniors are always improtant for a medical proffesion student. Like that our seniors are also helpful , they will help you with notes or their knowledge in clinics. They are very friendly to other state students also.
Admission :
You have to write a common entrance exam NEET. Based on your marks you will be called for counselling in New Delhi. You can choose your college based on your options available. You need atleast 450 marks to get a veterinary college.
Faculty :
I think this the best faculty right now. Full of knowledge and really helpful. If you are in a problem they will surely help you. Every student is provided with a Adviser teacher to whom he can contact for any enquires or any problem.
