Remarks :
The eligibility fo the course is 12th pass with 50% marks in total in 12th examination in any stream. The importance details like application forms, necessary dates and application fees, etc can be found in the official website of Delhi University. It can also be found on the college's website. Students with reservation quota SC, ST, OBC, PwD, EWS and other minorities can be benefited while seeking admission in the college as Delhi University provides prescribed reservations for the students for B.el.ed. The admission procedure is quite smooth. Although, the college must alter the use of lots of papers.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course is quite vigorous and needs a lot of hardwork and concentration. The faculty at I.H.E is descent and supportive. They support you with everything possible. The teacher student ration for B.el.ed is 1:45. The teachers are well educated and equipped with all the techniques to provide the best. Mostly teachers are PhD holders from a recognized university like JNU. The teachers usually use learning by doing and experiential learning methods to teach. They usually don't prefer books to impose any knowledge. The examinations for B.el.ed are annual. The exams are held in the college itself and needs yearly preparation. The questions are usually application based and needs personal attention to solve them.
Internships Opportunities :
The placement cell is always active and provide students with best internships available and suitable to them. There are some major schools like G.D. Goenka, St. Mary's, DPS, etc that comes our colleg for the placement of B.el.Ed students with good packages.
Placement Experience :
For Beled, students become eligible for campus placement after their last semester i.e. 8th semester/ 4th year. The B.el.ed course itself provides student with internship at schools on the 4th year as a part of the course.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure is quite good. We need to pay around 18,000 every year for 4 years which sums up to around 72,000 for the entire course. The college provides freeships to the students who are unable to submit the fees due to some serious reasons.
Campus Life :
There are many societies run by mostly student fundings. There is an early fest called Feria. There are also cultural fest help during the month April and March. There is a huge library for the journals and prescribed books. We can easily get them issued by the librarian. There are various societies like fashion society named poise, theatre society named navrang, etc and also NSS. Students can take part in various societies.
