Remarks :

Spacious classrooms, well equipped with LCD Projectors, whiteboards, wifi enabled and PA systems make the classroom learning an engaging and unique experience for all.Transport facility is also available from our college campus.DBS has a well-stocked library with the benefits of both the students and teachers.

Entrance Preview :

Our college does not conduct any entrance examination for B.Sc Horticulture.Admission is based on the marks of class Xll and it is purely provisional.Before admission students should clear personal interview and group discussion.

Course Curriculum Overview :

B.Sc Horticulture is a 4-year full-time undergraduate program.The Course curriculum is designed to get the students acquainted with various facets of Horticulture and its related specialisations.The syllabus is very exhaustive in tune with the industrial requirements and Govt jobs.

College Events :

UG Fresher's party, Navratri festivals, Intercollege singing competitions all these events conducted recently. Every year all students celebrate Teacher's Day.Interclass Football matches and Interclass volleyball competitions were one of the very exciting events. Guest lectures are also conducted by every department.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Various scholarship programmes for all the students.Minority students get minority scholarships.Scholarship up to 50% in tuition fees for all the meritorious students.Educational loan/ scholarships also available from any banks for all the students.

Hostel Facilities :

We have separate boarding and lodging for both boys and girls.The rooms are available on double sharing and triple sharing basis.The facilities provided include laundry, wifi, yoga for girls and gymnasium for boys.We all have lots of fun in the Hostel.Our Hostel is ragging free.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course and topics are pre determined based on the syllabus and they are pretty relevent considering the subjects. It would be much better if the professors focused on also helping students to make better notes for self study. The exams are conducted each semester i.e. 2 times a year.

Remarks:

Best thing about our college is its environment and location. Our campus has variety of trees and flowers. The only thing I dislike is a placement after graduation because our city is far from main metro cities, only 3-4 company come and students have to move big cities for jobs.
