Remarks :

Best thing about our college is its environment and location. Our campus has variety of trees and flowers. The only thing I dislike is a placement after graduation because our city is far from main metro cities, only 3-4 company come and students have to move big cities for jobs.

Entrance Preview :

I didn't take any entrance because I had got 80% in my 12th exam so I got B.Sc with Physics, Chemistry and Math directly in Kumaun University.

Course Curriculum Overview :

B.Sc course is well structured it is based on new science related research and technologies. It's revised on yearly basis teachers are very helping and enthusiastic.

Internships Opportunities :

Because I am doing B.Sc so there are no direct placement after B.Sc. College is not good in placement terms. But In a BCA faculty and Aptech Software engineering course associated with kumaun university companies come and select the students. Itc,bajaj are some name of these companies.

Placement Experience :

Last year 5 students are placed in those companies salary is started from 13000 INR.

College Events :

There are many cultural festival are organized in our college. Programs on Hindi day,Kumauni day,Uttarakhand day etc happen in college. There are many science exhibition held in college every year. Professors come from various universities on this type on exhibitions. Students also take part on every programs with excitement.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Student having more than 75% on 3 years are eligible for 25000 Rs scholarship. There are many scholarship provided by state and central government are available.

Campus Life :

There is fresher party in starting of every college year there are very few cases of gender or religion discrimination in campus. Boys and girls are almost equal in numbers. Student union election take place on October every year students come from various districts in our college.

Hostel Facilities :

There are two girls hostels and one boy hostel all are in campus every student give 12000 Rs per year as hostel fees college provide 3 times food per day in hostel foods and water quality are good.

Alumni/Alumna :

Seniors are very helpful they give their subjects notes to new students our campus is free from raging we enjoy our life with juniors and seniors.

One of the best campus in dehradun.

Placement Experience:

Graphic era hill university has best placement packages, specially for btech and MBA students are out shining. Last year in b tech highest package was 82 lakh . But some courses are underrated they just rely on graduation degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course and topics are pre determined based on the syllabus and they are pretty relevent considering the subjects. It would be much better if the professors focused on also helping students to make better notes for self study. The exams are conducted each semester i.e. 2 times a year.

Remarks:

I chose this college because of it's reputation and food technology is my dream career. Graphic Era University is a well known university and I'm proud to be a part of such an institution. The campus of graphic era is also just amazing. We are provided with more and more opportunities to explore ourselves with limitless number of extra curricular activities. This university focuses on both career and growth of student.
