Remarks :

Candidates can take direct admission to the university if he has 50% percentile in the 10th and 60% in the 10+2. But you take an entrance test which is called the LPUNEST which can be used to avail the scholarships. If you pass the exam within the category 1 cut off marks than a 60% is deducted from your programme fees. You can find the application form and details in their website. And lastly, the improvement that i want to see is better description about their programmes

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course because I like food and it comes with the joy of cooking. So basically my dream is to become a chef and this course will help me in becoming the best. Ratio of faculty to student ratio is 10:50. Qualifications of the faculty is extraordinary with their amazing, innovative and interesting teaching methods with up to date technologies. There are two exams in each semester and the 2nd one, which is the end term exam is a little bit harder. But with the lectures and the notes provided, it's nothing to worry about.

Class Size : 50Course Fees : INR 80000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees reduce as we continue on to the next semesters but they are a little bit high. Fortunately, if you pass the LPUNEST under their cut off categories then you can avail a 30% to 60% in the fees. The name of the scholarship is LPUNEST and you can take it by submitting the required documents by visiting their website

Campus Life :

One India is a cultural fest held annually and there are a number of fests also conducted in the campus and they are all updated in the LPU touch app which is an app designed to provide the students with all the happenings and notifications of the university in the palm of your hand. You can find a number of books in numbers of category in the library. All the classes are fully air conditioned with projectors, sound systems, podium, white boards etc. As for the sports and extra curricular activities LPU has basketball courts, shooting ranges swimming pool, badminton courts and numerous others. Clubs include air pistol shooting, chess, judo etc..

Interview Experience :

There were no group discussions nor interview but but a simple exam based on aptitude, English, numerical ability etc. is taken in the LPUNEST exam. Updating oneself with the latest current affairs and general knowledge will help you in passing this exam with ease.

My dream course in my dream University

Admission:

The college has an entrance test irrespective of the course you are applying for, I attended the entrance exam for this college, luckily I cleared it and was called for a counseling round, after which I finally got admission in LPU.

Placement Experience:

In this course one thing important is to have the experience, having that in mind the college arranges us for internships in some top hotels in very busy tourist regions with accommodation and a stipend. We are placed for sure in a well-known organization before we graduate.

Everyone's dream would be getting a seat here in this college. After my cracked score in NEST exam I did applied for the course of Hotel management. Behalf of my good marks I did got the seat without any donations or interview.

Placement Experience:

The Placement will be carried out in huge manner for the student's carrier development with training and extra activities. Here for us we get job opportunity in abroad very well than inside our country. I wish I could get a visa and passport to flyover after the completion of my course.

Entrance Preview:

I choose Global University because it was one of the best for hotel management in Amritsar. I haven't took any written general entrance exam, i was shortlisted by my higher secondary examination result then I was shortlisted for an interview with the Head of Department and some other faculty members.

Placement Experience:

Placements are from the same companies as that came for internships. The placement is almost 100%. Although it is a long interview process with at least 3 rounds. The interview process was quite stressful because of the nature of the industry but we were all prepped well by out teachers.
