Remarks :
I think everything is perfect. Applying mode is online currently, which is very useful and time saving for students. No need to visit the college. The application fee is 500 which is affordable for every range of students. If you got selected, you have to visit the campus for further process. The cut-off is around 85 to 92% of your intermediate mark which varies from year to year. Vast of courses available of your choice from arts, commerce and science. There are 36/40/46 seats available for every honour. The selection process is fully mark based, with no entrance or extra fees. Exams are generally done via offline mode. There are two semesters in a year making a total of 6 in three years. A semester contains an internal exam and a final exam. Thanks for asking.
Course Curriculum Overview :
As I previously mentioned you can choose from a vast range of courses. Here I'm gonna mention my selected course BOTANY. Well, it totally depends on your interest. I love to read botany, that's simple. There are 2 lecturers, 2 lab experts, 2 lab assistants and a peon for every department. Lecturers are fully professional in their field. Lab experts are the skilled ones for our practical needs in the science section. A normal class is generally 45 minutes. So nothing to be bored with. Lastly, the exam, as I previously mentioned exam mode is offline. Which is quite tough. You have to prepare yourself for the exam, otherwise, you will face aback. So read well, score well. Simple concept.
Fees and Financial Aid :
As a fully government-driven college, most of the services are free of cost. But if you choose to stay in a hostel, you have to pay a few fees. Otherwise, you can stay in a mess or in a rented room. All fees that applied, were collected during the admission. You have to pay only once a year during admission/ Re-admission. Besides college lectures, one can choose personal or separate tuition, which is at an extra cost. But not to worry most tuitions are budget-friendly. Let's move to the scholarship section. You can apply for both government and private based scholarships. Government scholarships like merit scholarships, caste stipends, Hindi/Sanskrit special scholarships etc. Besides these, some private companies also offer merit cum test scholarships to scholar students.
Campus Life :
Ah! The best part of college life is taking part in different curricular activities or sports. There is an annual sports competition and annual function celebrated every year. You can participate in sports of your choice I.e both indoor and outdoor or curricular activities like dancing, singing, quiz, drawing etc. Besides this, there are study tours, annual seminars and special seminars were also conducted by every department. Let's talk about the library. I'm a huge fan of our library. You can find something interesting to read from 50,000+ books. That's a huge number. Classrooms are hygienic, modern and digitalized. Most of them are air-conditioned. Anyone can love to seat here. Besides these, there is the annual student election. If you want to take part in this, you are welcome. I'm personally not interested in students' elections btw.
Hostel Facilities :
As I previously mentioned, classrooms are hygienic, modern and digitalized. There is everything that you need from 24*7 electricity to fresh cold water availability. Also, there is a large canteen present in the western part of the campus. Foods prepared there are not only fresh and hygienic but also tasty too. You can choose your favourite foods from a long menu. Both Veg and non-veg are available. Meals are affordable too, forget to mention. You can apply for a hostel during applying for the college. Btw the hostel selection process is purely merit basis. If you scored a higher percentage in your intermediate then you will get a seat easily. Hostel rooms are very clean and hygienic. It will cost you approximately 20,000 /year for room rent including electricity and water bill. Food rent is a separate one.
