Remarks :

You can apply online for an entrance test based on your marks you will get to choose your respective course, a management quota is also available but it is necessary to attend the entrance exam also you should pass all your board exams. you would need to pay around 1200 for the entrance exam

Course Curriculum Overview :

As we know Ece is a versatile course you will get to learn bot software and hardware and there will be more job choices, there will be an advisor and counsellor for a class so you can talk about anything anytime, and most of the faculty has PhDs some are currently pursuing, they are very supportive and friendly. there will be three modes of exams two periodicals and an end sem exam, exams are moderately tough they target your understanding of the subject.

Internships Opportunities :

You get a lot of internships throughout the course mostly it starts from semester five and you will get a lot of paid internships and unpaid internships you can talk with faculty, advisors and councillors for these internships some of my friends got in Microsoft and some even went abroad for an internship.

Placement Experience :

placements are very good and you get to apply for jobs from semester six itself many MNC and great companies like Microsoft, Google etc visit so you can really achieve your dream of working in them, you would get some highest around 20 lakhs to an average of around 4.5 lakhs and mostly 100% students get placed .you can also apply for higher studies there will be guiding advisors and counsellors for your future.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

the course fee for a year is around 250000 it is affordable and you can get some scholarships if get good grades in board exams, mains or advanced there won't be any additional charges for labs or stuff, you can get educational loans for it and you can apply for some internships through college.

Campus Life :

There will be an annual college fest called VIDYUT and multiple festivals throughout the year and every semester-end you get to have a tech fest. there is a huge library with a lot of educational stuff to storybooks as well, classrooms are pretty clean they have desk benches and power sockets for laptop charge etc. there will be sports and art competitions and fests every year

Hostel Facilities :

Hostels are good for first-year students as it is inside the ashram so you get to be in a calm and spiritual atmosphere which was a great experience for me and for seniors it will be in the college area and hostels are pretty clean but for food, you have to adjust a lot of food is a bit tough to eat you will have pretty decent menu but the taste that bad you gotta adjust but there are many hotels around so you can have there anytime. the hostel fee is around 70000 including mess so it's cheap and there are pg's available very close to college

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
