Remarks :
After intermediate, I had written EAMCET (an entrance test in Telangana State) in which I got a 4525 ranks. It made me eligible to graduate from this course and college. I applied through the portal website www.pjstau.in. I got admission to the Muslim minority reservation BC-E which is 4%.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Horticulture is a good growing industry in the present century.so I decided to do a BSc in horticulture. The faculty of the college of horticulture Mojerla college are so pleased and humble in nature. they clarify all the doubts in classes and their cabins with full patience and a humble manner. there were a total of 8-semester examinations with 2 in each year And the qualify/pass of each test was 50 marks out of 100.
Internships Opportunities :
They provide RAWEP rural awareness and work experience programs in the final year's first semester. Students are sent to a few villages nearby college and given guidance and practical knowledge of cultivation from successful farmers. The college also sends us to various industries for 45 days of internship training programs which provide certificates, giving more weightage to us in interviews. Experience and learning programs are conducted in the last semester in which a piece of land is given and asked to cultivate and provide income to students.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees for every semester were nearly 1.5 lacks. As I am a Muslim minority student I availed reservation and fees reimbursement of 1 lakhs rupees every year. Scholarships were also available for 30000 per year for BC candidates.
Campus Life :
All the books were available in the library and E-books are also available in the computer lab. Inter-college sports meets are conducted once per year in which 2 colleges of horticulture in Telangana participate in various indoor and outdoor games and sports for trophies and championships. here the students are allowed to manage their hostel food department and maintenance of mess in hostels by students is followed which enhances the business minds of students.
