Took admission in BTech course. you can find the application form, application fees and application form on silicon's official Website. There is a perfect admission process. There is no reservation in the college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose this course cause I have a dream to work for big tech companies. Faculties give advanced study material. The faculty and student ratio will be 4:3. Most of the faculty have the qualification of MTech, MPhil in their respective subjects. Faculty teaching methods are also good. Teachers keep taking tests, monthly there have to be 8tests per sub. Teachers set questions a little difficult so that students can improve their skills.

Internships Opportunities :

The comapanies Accenture Deloitte TCS and many more offered internship programs and an average stipend of 20.000 per month The projects like making the clkne kf spitify and weather forecasting app and food delivery apps projects are completed

Placement Experience :

6 sem students are eligible for campus placement. The placements are from High tech companies. Almost every Student gets placement. 78% of students get placed. The companies like Accenture Deloitte TCS are the companies in which students are getting placed

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Total fees for a hostile will be 35,300 extra, and for day scholars will be 95000. There are many scholarships 1. Post matric scholarship Odisha 2. E medhabruti scholarship Odisha, 3. NSDL scholarship Odisha, 4. E kalyan scholarship Jharkhand

Campus Life :

ZREYAS is the annual fest that is connected every year along with the tech fest. There are 29000 volumes and 45000 books available in E-library. There are smart classrooms and seminars halls and examination rooms extra. There have been annual sports, and the experience was good. There are coding clubs, and robotic clubs where Robo war is done.

Hostel Facilities :

There are 3 beds and two fans with a single balcony. Awesome infrastructure. The meal is Fantastic and menus are decided by the students themselves, by the canteen in charge. no, I didn't rent a room or pg. The room in a hostel is good enough.

KIIT- The Real Truth Of College

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is similar to all the colleges. but the extra curricular facilities provided by the college, differen societies present in differen domain will help you in growing your skills and knowledge in your sector. College keep organising tech fest, alumini meet, and global awareness meeting to keep the students up to date with present world. Course curriculum can be improved, I personally think, many new elective subjects are added which are not beneficial for my stream CSE.And the attendace is very compulsury for getting ood marks. Smart Boards and White Board teaching ares used which depends on teacher's choice. There is normally two exams in a semester , midsem of 20 marks in time 1hr 30 min, and endsem exam of 50 marks in 3 hr, and the rest marks depend on subject faculty. Mostly examination level is normal , if you are good student you can cover the syllabus in 1 week before exam.

Good facilities that needs to be grabbed.

Placement Experience:

The placement scenario for now it not that good. There is regression going on so the companies aren't taking that many students. From the 3rd year you are eligible for placements. 450 companies came this year for placements making 5200 job offers. The highest placement this year was 63 lacs by Yugabyte. Average CTC is 8.5 lacs in all streams. Mass recruiters like Accenture, Cognizant, Capgemini, Mindtree, Bosch, Ericsson, IBM etc. Many other notable companies that visited are Bain & Company, CME group, DE shaw & co, JP Morgan Chase etc. According to kiit website, 90% students are placed. 2100 students also got internships via capstone route. My plans after getting the degree is to do a job for some years and then after getting some experience I want to do a startup.
