Remarks

My 12 th marks was good therefore I had not given any entrance exam. I took admission my basis on the 12th marks. The admission process in my college is very simple:- 1. All courses admission process is same 2. For admission you have required some documents like aadhaar card, 12th marks sheet, cast certificate (general categories are not required for cast certificate at the time of admission), 10th marks sheet, admission form etc. 3. If at the time of admission, any documents are mismatched or wrong , you have give to 10 to 15 days for correction. 4. All teachers are very helping nature .

Course Curriculum Overview

I had choosne B.A Hindi Hons. Because this course is boost to my career. I am preparing for ssc cgl exam. If you choose hindi hons . In my college, the Hindi hons teachers are very co-operative and helpful. The students ration of the class is 10:6. The exam conduct by the college in every six months , and the exam is not difficult.

Fees and Financial Aid

Hindi hons course fee structure is ;:- 10450 every year Semesters exam fee :- 510 every semester If you have choose computer science and other main subjects than your semester fee is 710 rupees. Many schoolarships had given to students like students aid fund, obc / sc/ st scholarship, etc. Every year 49 % students got job from campus.

Campus Life

Every year annual fest conduct by the college. In fest all activities are performed and singers are also come in my college. Many societies are here like lakshya society, pratibha society, debating society, ambedakar study circle, dance society, music society, rangayan society, and gandhi study circle and many more.

the curriculum is decided by delhi university, economics wing and is followed by all the colleges of du, although few topic are often irrevelent which teachers tend to skip. i do feel that curriculum is pretty old and they should introduce new topic which are more related to reak=l world and give us real life experience not just bookish knowledge which is irelevent. they should also ask for students input related to their curriculum, teachers sometimes tedn to just do book reading. internal exmas are taken frequently and difficulty is 3 out of 5

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is a good course. I went for it mainly because I am preparing for UPSC CSE (pretty common around here). In that context the course is helpful, and also for those aiming to enter research, academia, museology, archaeology etc. However there are not many placement opportunities and for most it would be better to pursue masters later on. Teaching methods are inclusive, both english and hindi medium students can comfortably study. However both students and faculties have some complaints regarding the curriculum changes under NEP such as the sequence of courses in each sem.

Course is rightly designed. Plus the teachers often suggest books that can be read from library regarding course topics. The library is very nice here. I used to study in the library for long hours. Placement Experience:

The college has a placement cell which comes up with lots and lots of internship and job offers throughout the year, you get multiple new job opportunities every week but the campus placement is not all that great, B Com courses have somewhat decent placements. the college doesn't push very much or try much to get students placed, you're on your own.

Generally, after BA no one is placed and even if we apply for a job we don't get a good package. So, students generally go for masters or some other courses through which they can get placements. Talking of college placement and internship cell we don't have very good facilities as very limited companies are there for recruiting students. Many students don't even get the internship. This is a major negative point of college.

So I didn't really apply to any of the colleges I filled the preference sheet in the csas portal and I got selected in this college. I chose this college because it was very convenient for me, not that far and not that close from my house. No I didn't get any rejection from any other colleges. The admission process for my college is through CUET conducted by NTA, The eligibility for my course is atleast 45% in 10+2 and the exam accepted for my course is CUET only. CUET is the exam mostly preferred by the students, cutoffs for this exam for my course was 650 for general and around 550 for my category. I was made to prepare a list of colleges that provided the course that I opted for. So I made a list of all thr college in accordance to my convenience and what I wished to get into. My first priority was obviously a north campus college such as hindu college, kirori mal, hansraj and likewise. Then I proceeded to add the rest of the topmost colleges that came under south campus. ARSD Emerging College of South Campus (NIRF 7)

To get admission into ARSD College or any other college in the University of Delhi you should have an aggregate of 60% at least. 12th appearing or 12th pass. You have to give CUET (Central University Entrance Test) and score as high as you can. Application fees for General, OBC, and EWS candidates are RS 600. For ST, SC RS 550. For applying last date will be the first week of march and the exam will be conducted in the last week of May. It may vary. Delhi University Releases its cut-off based on CUET Scores for various colleges. I availed reservation of OBC NCL which is 27% of seats. My score of CUET was 609 and I got ARSD College.
