Entrance Preview :

I was qualified in AIEE but don't remember my rank. As i was late in taking the admission because of my medical condition so i had few option for admission. So I finally opted for this college.

Internships Opportunities :

College didn't provided any internship from their side.

Placement Experience :

Not yet any major company has visited the college. Few firms visited the college in this session with very low package. Placement is not upto the mark in the college.

College Events :

Usually seminars takes place in regular basis. Very few cultural events took place. And it was not too big.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I took education loan from SBI. And it was quite easy to avail as college is properly affiliated.

Campus Life :

Gender ratio is quite more or less same in college. labs and seminars usually takes place in the college. The campus is completely ragging free. No politics takes place in college. Most of the religion of student study together without any dispute. Usually middle class student are most seen in the campus.

Alumni/Alumna :

The seniors students are quite helpful but due to the difference in timing the interaction is very less.

Review regarding Nalanda Institute of Technology(NIT), Bhubaneswar

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements where they have to show their skills to the interviews in order to get placement. The name of the companies visited are Infosys, Oracle, Dalmia, Tata. The average package the companies give is around 3 to 4 lacs. My plan after getting the degree is to already settle by getting a placement.

According to seniors , placements are good and decent comparing to other nits . After 6 semester , company are hiring for placements . Many companies has visited more than enough . Highest package I seen in 23 is 1.12 CR in rubrik from senior . My plans after degree is doing sde job at company.

Reality of GIFT college

Placement Experience:

Placements! Once upon a time in year 2016-17 Amazon, Oracle etc used to come... Now all are just less paying startups who select for 3,4,4.5 lpa on average Yeah some get 9-10lpa if they are really good, opportunities are always there for good students, but not more than this... If you're dreaming a 13,15,20,50lpa package, don't wake up, it's not possible in real life here (atleast till now)

Students are available from 7th semester for their placements. This college provides a good environment for professional study. I got alloted to the college through my entrance mark so i chose it. It was my dream to study Electrical engineering but i didn't got the branch in any other college and i got the department over here so i thought it would be better to study here

Various companies visit our campus for recruitment. Among those companies the name of some big companies are TATA, INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, JINDAL, LNT. For being able to sit in the interview for any campus a student must have scored a minimum of 7 cgpa and must have good communication skills. In my knowledge there is no big startup by our batch.
