Remarks :

PDU is one of the costliest universities in Gujarat. And also Ranking was high at admission time. Among all the branches petroleum's rank was highest. There is no entrance exam for admission. After the selection of the round, they were asked to submit the application form at college. 5k was a token fee at my time. And after the submission of the fee, you can get admission.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Couse was oriented with New industry. All the aspects of the petroleum industry are covered. There are two-part upstream and downstream. The first year start with a normal subject and then as move forward the course becomes harder.

Class Size : 120Course Fees : INR 221000 per year

Placement Experience :

There are many companies like Reliance, ONGC, Torrent, and Shell that are recruiting from PDEU in various branches. right now IT, ICT and Chemical has highest placement. Civil, and petroleum is something called normal placement, not good.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There is one scholarship name president scholarship. Which was given to the student who is top 7 ranks after TFWS both in ACPC and JEE rank. And after 1st sem, you have to get a minimum 8.5 spi to avail the next term's fee.

Campus Life :

Pdeu is full of clubs and groups. The functions and events are very general to Students. Pdeu has its website contains content like course, faculties, placement history, etc. There are many students chapter like IADC, SPE, FIPI, SEG-EAPG, etc.

From 8 semester students are eligible for campus placements. Well-known chemical industries like JB chemicals, Sun Pharma, Ami polymers, Jubilant, Aditya Birla etc. The highest package was about 4.5 lakh for chemical engineering was offered. About 97 percent of students got placed.
