Remarks :
The Eligibility for the course is marked as more than 60% in State Board Exams or corresponding Exams. You can get the application form application fees on the Vit courses page. The Student possessing high marks in the 12th will get fewer fees in category 1 and the amount is 98000, for category, the fees is 159000 and for category 3 it is 192000. The improvement i want to see in the admission process is create more awareness in students about the course.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because i am interested in Computer Science and Engineering and want to get a master's degree in it so I am interested in doing 5-year integrated program so that I can one year in my career. There are approximately more than 750 students who applied for this course and the number of teachers is 40. The faculties of Vellore Institute of Technology are highly qualified in their corresponding fields most of the teachers have done their education Abroad. The Semester Exams or the term exams are slightly difficult to pass Since the questions are slightly hard but if your hard work you can get good marks.
Internships Opportunities :
VIT has mandated internships for all students out of total credits 2 credits are awarded upon completion of the Industrial Internship. The internship must be of 28 days. You can do two internships for 14 days each, or finish with a single internship. During your internship, you will have to maintain a record of your activities and learning experiences. Companies like intel eBay, Amazon, Dell, GE Texas Instruments Schneider Electric, DE Shaw & co,Hitachi , paypal , Tata Motors actively take part in the placement and hiring processes with VIT.
Placement Experience :
The placements in the VIT for the computer science Engineering course with specialization in data science have good placements. From 5th semester, we get different opportunities from different companies like goggle and Infosys. The average package is 8 - 10 LPA. If you do get more than 9 CGPA and more than 200 credits we get good placements. Approximately 100 companies per year offer 150 job opportunities for the students. Google provides an average of 7-10 LPA and a maximum of 21 LPA. My plans after getting the degree are to get placements in the campus interview and do my job Abroad.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fees structures are as follows Category 1 fees are 98000, category 2 fees are 159000 and category 3 fees are 192000 This course does not provide any scholarships, but you can get different types of financial assistance like the National Scholarship portal. As regards to placement and campus jobs, the Vellore Institute of Technology provides 100 per cent Placement and Different companies like Google, and Infosys are offering many job opportunities to the students who get high grades and credits. You get good placements when you get more than 9 CGPA and more 200 credits in complete 5 years of your Education.
Campus Life :
The college life at Vellore Institute of Technology is very good. VIT provides Gravitas which is its Annual Technological and design carnival. This festival is an endeavour to provide a platform for all individuals to showcase their skills and improve their Innovation Skills. In VIT all kinds of books are available and all kinds of journals are available. The infrastructures are very best in VIT. Regarding Sports and Extra curricular opportunities, VIT is more interested. Different types of clubs like red ribbon club, Nature lovers club and chapters like VITMAS are available. Others include nerves and technology club are also available.
