Remarks :

BBA is one of the popular courses nowadays so admission is quite difficult as compared to other courses. IP University conducts entrance exam for BBA course, based on the score in entrance and rank student get chance to choose a college. My rank was good so I get admission to FIMT easily. The overall admission process was good but it should not be a so lengthy process.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose this course because I want to become an entrepreneur. This course has helped me learn about how to manage the business. The course curriculum is per the rule of university but colllege provide some extra class also so that they can make student ready for industry. Most of the faculty members of our courses were P.hd holders or they have done at least master's. The teaching method was good. They use simple language and step to teach in class.

Class Size : 40Course Fees : INR 70000 per year

Placement Experience :

For the BBA course, students get eligible for placement from 5th and 6th semesters. Durning my passout year company like Flipkart, Zomato, Airtel, Himalya, HDFC life insurance etc visit for campus placement. The highest package were 4.8 lac per annum and average package was 2.7 lac per annum. Around 75% student from our course get placement. After getting the degree i decided to do 2 year job and after getting experience i will do MBA for master degree.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

College provides some options for scholarships but only to limited students. Scholarship and financial are aslo provided by university. Fees for our cours was around 75000 per year and there was no hike in fees. Fees of this college is little higher because of its location and infrastructure.

Campus Life :

The annual fest is mostly held in month of october. There is lots fun activity happen in college campus which make overall campus life good. College has NCC group also so any student can participate and student get awarded with certificate also. Library has good collection of books but rules are very strict. For sports college has limited space. Gym of college is good and we were regular visit to gym.

Hostel Facilities :

College provides hostel facilities for both girls and boys. The hostel is located just nearby the college only. The hostel room and the mess were good but there is no sports ground. Hostel common room has large tv screen where we visit to watch movie and cricket match. Hostel rule is quite strict. The hostel registration process starts at the time of admission only. Hostel fees are also affordable.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As my Course is a professional so the ciriculum is really good and it's based on real life as well however teaching hindi and some extra subjects which don't help us doesn't make sense to me and I believe that more focus should be given on development of communication skills.

Placement Experience:

Maharaja Surajmal Institute is value for money. Placements: Almost everybody in the BBA course were placed. The highest placement in 2024 is Rs. 7,50,000. The average package in 2024 is Rs. 3,50,000. Recruiting companies include Federal Bank, Upgrade, etc. Students who got the internship from Bachelois in Business Administration are less likely to get it, as college doesn't help. Infrastructure: The quality of infrastructure is very poor in Maharaja Surajmal Institute. The library and labs are good but the classrooms don't have ACs. The quality of food available in the canteen is average. Don't join this college if you want to excel in sports. Hostel quality is very poor too. You won't find ACs in rooms. Moreover, there are Indian toilets, which are outdated. Faculty: Few teachers are seriously irritating and focus more on attendance than the quality of their teaching. A BBA course, in my opinion, doesn't make you job-ready but gives a basic outline of the job role and responsibilities

Course cuuriculum is quite interesting as it allows students to porperly prepare for exams and learn thouroughly . Exams are don twice a semester , each subject has it's exam of 3 hours . Teaching methods can be improved by focusing more on practical knowledge than theoretical knowledge

Placement Experience:

Campus placements start the 5th semester onwards, although the package is very low given the current status of courses of BBA and BCom Hons in the country with not much scope in the market, also the amount of students getting placements is very low with some decent companies although my plans after getting a degree from here is to pursue MBA.

To plan for MBA and doing the job. After the 6th semester students becomes eligible for campus placement but no such sought of campus placement was there. Only they get an open placement offer. The highest package is 1,80,000 for a year.
