At all our college is a good college as all other college the best thing in our college is our infrastructure,we have large trees inside the capus that protects us from the chennai heat

Entrance Preview :

I heard as aerospace will have good scope in the future thus i joined this college because this college is good in aerospace engineering education

Course Curriculum Overview :

Yeah this course is good with research scope but the thing is we should be strong with the basics and the good thing is we should study the masters in aerospace the only it will make us a full aerospace engineer. i think this is enough for this box

Internships Opportunities :

No, our college does nit provides internship, but if we want we can go for any internship where ever we want.and our college alway accepts our permissions to go for any internships in any companiies out ther

Placement Experience :

Regardin placements our college was not that good. but this year so many good companiees also came, actually most of thhose companies were not oriented with aerospace engineering. most of those companies were from IT COMPANIES, like infosys,etc aerospace companies were asystems, ramco,unitech

College Events :

There are no such events celebrated but we all have the department wise celebrations that is we all have separate department event celebrations for each and every student of each and every department, it is in the name of simposiyum it is to be celebrated

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee structure is too much in our college. They are also collecting donations from many students and the donations for our department is the highest donation comparing to the others it is like 7 lakhsand per semester we have to pay 86000 and even we have to pay some extra fees as some unnecessary fines

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I dont know about any good scholarships or loan facilities offered by our college but a girl from our class was called for scholarship and enquired her and came to know that her fathers income was too low and for that she go scholarship

Campus Life :

Our college life was like a very short journey.seriously four years was not at all enough for being in college spent good times with my friends here the staffs were very much friendly. we dont have any ragging problems,we dont have any racism issues

Hostel Facilities :

Regarding hostels we have one ladies hostel and three boys hostel inside the campus and we have two boys hostel outside the campus. and the girls hostel i heard was good enough for the girls they said but the hostel for the boys is not an enough hostel the food is enough and good in here but the thing is with the rest rooms whose numbers are not at all sufficient

External Expense : Rs.10000 - Rs.15000

Alumni/Alumna :

No not at all the senior students from our college till now were not at all helpfull for us we dont have a good contact with thaem because they werte not in a good link with us

Exam Structure :

Nothing to talk more about examinations and laboratories. actually in any of the engineering colleges no need to study from the whole semester but it will be enough to study for the exams before the previous day of the exam and here the exams are always beenchilled out only

Faculty :

Actually, the standard of the faculty in hindustan university is very very very normal only. They are not fully thorogh with the subject but they know partially about the subject. and also there are some staffs who have done jobs in ISRO, DRDO, AIRFORCE

Average college but a good place to study on your own

Placement Experience:

The campus placements start in the 7th semester. Due to the recession, there is a lot of backlash when it comes to placements. It has been quite poor for the last few years. But it depends on how the student is prepared for the competitive world.

Reality of Veltech

Placement Experience:

Placement is good for the CSE and IT departments. You can't expect placement if you belong to other departments, there is a placement for the other departments but very less. Campus placement starts in 3rd year itself. They have special classes for Aptitude skills and interview preparation GD and necessary preparations for job placement opportunities. 90% of students from CSE and IT get placed. The average package is 7.5 LPA you can expect a minimum of 3.5 LPA. If you are willing to go for higher studies you can contact the international relation office they have good relations with other universities abroad, they have students exchange programs, research scholarships etc if you are not planning to seat in placement. I plan for higher studies and research after my Btech.

Best place ever visited. My Sweet College.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college is very good and top companies hire students across every branch with a good amount of package. At the end of 3rd year every student is elegible for the placements in college. About 20 to 25 companies visited for campus hiring and approximately 700 offers were given across the college from every branch. 60 percentage of students got placed in the campus hiring program. Highest package is 24 LPA and the aveyis 5LPA. My plan is to get into a good MNC company which is related to Aerospace technology.
