Remarks :

Admission of students in Nss college of engineering palakkad is done through the Kerala entrance exam. The students should pass 12 or equivalent and studied in science stream.The state merit rank of civil engineering will be upto 10k.And other reservation also there.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chooses the course because I Love it There is 2 group tutors for a single class of 67 students. Through offline mode of study the classes are very good. Overall teaching facilities are good. As per KTU the university exams may held in a duration of 6 months And there is 2 internal exams in between the sem

Class Size : 67Course Fees : INR 17200 per year

Internships Opportunities :

So many companies are also offering a lot of internship. Intership are done by students through either online or offline mode Kerala State electricity board Kerala water authority BSNL are some of the government authorities conduct interships and a lot of private companies also

Placement Experience :

There are a lot of companies which offer placement and others in the college . TCS Federal Bank are some of examples. From 5th semester the origination may did Highest package when in last year Twenty thousand is the large amount of annual packing After completing this course I'm planning to take MBA degree

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Actually the fee is very low when compared to the private colleges because this is a government college I got an alumni scholarship in second year Cost of study including food and accommodation is 1lakh per year and course duration is 4 year

Campus Life :

Usually we conduct 'Noopuram' Our Arts festival and Dyuksha the tech festival Noopuram will held in January it includes so many arts and Techfest is in February Due to COVID pandemic both of them are now in a bad situation Our central library consists of lot of technical and non technical book's All classes are fully furnished and facilities for virtual organization is also done The sports day will in October month There are so many other carricular activities are here. IEEE and NSS are the type of clubs and social groups here

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel rooms are good But some more facilities are needed Meal quality was ok it's not much good or bad Registration of college hostel is based on the mark of previous sem But in my case I'm staying outside Due to the freedom

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
