IIIT Bangalore

Remarks :

IIIT Bangalore is really fantastic and world-class. It teaches us how to build ourselves up to confront the realities of life. Academics and social life are both encouraged at the college. Everyone is cooperative and open-minded. The GATE exam is the only way to get into this college for post-graduation. The GATE cutoff marks are in the mid-range, ranging from 650 to 700. The procedure entails filling out an application on the IIIT Bangalore's official website. The acceptance lists are published on the specified dates. You must pay the first semester costs to confirm your enrollment once you have been accepted.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is extremely wide, and students begin choosing their preferred disciplines in the first semester. From the first day, it is evident that the courses are focused on delving deeper into the subjects rather than covering all of them. The grading system is based on a four-grade CGPA system.

Placement Experience :

The college's placement rates are excellent. The majority of the companies that the student's name are invited to the campus. For the summer, there is an internship programme. In addition, students can perform a 6-month internship or a thesis in the final semester.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The average expense for a Master's Course is approximately 8 Lakhs. The costs appear to be high, yet they are well worth it. Dean's Merit List awards scholarships to students who have excelled academically. Scholarships are available for talented students, and there are numerous internship opportunities. The college also offers a financing programme.

Campus Life :

The college has all of the necessary infrastructure and equipment for various sports and recreational activities. Football, cricket, basketball, volleyball, tennis, table tennis, badminton, library, jogging track, and other sports are included.

Hostel Facilities :

The infrastructure of the hostel is fantastic. Everyone is assigned to their own room. These rooms are well-appointed and have a fan, a study table and chair, a bed, a closet, and a shoe rack. The cleaning service cleans the rooms three times a week. Students will find the rooms to be extremely spacious and comfortable.

In a short period of time, the college has achieved extremely high placement rates. The college was able to achieve a placement rate of 80%. The highest package was approximately 25 LPA, and the average package was approximately 13 LPA. That is an excellent accomplishment for a new college. The college placement panel was successful in inviting over 100 plus companies to participate in the college placement drive.

Placement Experience:

During my graduation year, IIT Dharwad had a staggering placement rate of 95%. Microsoft, Nasdaq, Air Asia, TCS, Cognizant, Express Analytics, Sohum Innovations, MAQ Software's, Larson and Toubro, and others were among the major recruiters. 60% of the students were placed in information technology, with the remainder in core engineering, education, and research and development. These companies even provided summer internships to us in the final semester. The highest package available was 21 lakh rupees, while the average remuneration was 12 lakh rupees.

Remarks:

The only negative remark about the college is that some official jobs take a lot of time due to governmental issues. Other that that all the facilities provided are great. Even transportation inside is provided free of cost.
