Remarks :
I didn't take any entrance exams. The admission process was smooth. I had 95% marks and I'm in a general category I got my seat in the trial allotment. I had no reservation I was eligible for an EWS reservation but I didn't apply for that. You can download the application form from the Calicut University website and you have to fill it out and submit it in college. On the admission days, there will be a lot of volunteers to help you so everything was easy.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course not because I'm an English expert. I chose this because I always loved the English language. I found happiness while hearing English and reading English. everyone should choose the course they love. Classrooms are well maintained there are enough Fan, light, bench, desks and a projector too. The number of boy students is very low in my class 50 students are girls and only five are boys. Class tests are conducted every week and semester exams are conducted after official notification from University. I haven't attended any semester exams as I'm a new student but senior students say it is quite difficult to pass unlike +2/10th without much hard work only those who give good effort can perform well in exams.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
It's a government college so fees were less. I only paid less than 10,000 for the whole admission process and books. I didn't got any scholarship yet. Even though i have applied for some scholarships. You can get all information about scholarships from noticeboard and there is a helpdesk too.
Campus Life :
College is hyperactive on fest days and somewhat quiet on normal days. Fests are conducted on every important day like Christmas, Diwali etc. Talking about Library it's a decent one staffs are nice and supportive to find books that you want. Daily newspapers and magazines are also available. The college has an Open ground and indoor one mostly focused on cricket and football. Facilities for volleyball and badminton are also available. No swimming facilities are available. There are many clubs that are active in college. The most important ones are NCC and NSS. There is a career club run by final year students for those who like to prepare for competitive exams.
