Remarks :
SNGS is a great college. This college have great campus life which teach us to live and survive. Friendship, teachers, and every moments in there was awesome. There is good ambiance to enjoy the atmosphere. Trees, walkway etc.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The college is under the university of calicut. So course curriculum and exam structure are designed by them. Course curriculum was great. Must include almost every important things. Exam structure also good
Placement Experience :
Colleges doesn't provide any placements and job opportunities. But they have some programs implemented by government of kerala and india to mould student to get good job and carrier like Walk with scholar, ASAP, Ncc, Nss etc
College Events :
There are several events held in college. Department day functions, work shops, camps etc. The most enjoyable event was science day. Several exhibitions, sky watching everything is unforgettable. Then other department day programs was also awesome
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Sngs college is a govt college. So fee was so. Much feasible. There is only 2000+ is admission fee. Then there is no semester fee for students with low financial background. Other have just 500.Then exam fee is 25 for low financial students other have around 600
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The scholarship was given by several organizations of government. I am getting a scholarship of 10000 per annum named as central sector. My course fee is less than 1000 for a year. So it was very much help for me.
Campus Life :
There are several extra curricular activities like NCC, NSS, ASAP, WALK WITH SCHOLAR, sports, arts etc. Then the lab facility has great. It have all types of instruments needed for us for our studies and we have access at any time.
Alumni/Alumna :
I am just out from college. So i will get alumni membership after 5 years of college. The alumni network is very strong in our college. They are sponsored needed things to college for development. They also gathered periodically.
Admission :
Applied for the course in the colleges under calicut university through single window process and got an allotment in SNGS as per marks in the plus two. Then went to college and meet the department HOD with certificate and take the admission
Faculty :
Faculties are good enough. They have great knowledge in bit theory and practical session. They are very helpful in all aspects even in curriculum and extra curricular activities. They also gave as some vocational training too.
