My experience at CIT as Msc software systems student

Remarks :

The minimum eligibility is you have to secure at least 80% in HSC. AND You have to attend the entrance test given by the college followed by an interview, you can find the application on the college website or by walking into the college. The application fee is Rs. 1000 and the application opens after board exam results.

Course Curriculum Overview :

All the faculties are Ph.D. staff. They are well knowledged, but they won't spoon-feed you. You have to study on your own. The faculty ratio is 1:5. You will find exams monthly and for each semester. Exams are tough and evaluations are strict

Internships Opportunities :

As the MSC course is concerned students must attend internships for 1 year (6 months + 6 months), one in the 7th semester and one in the 10th semester. The college brings many companies like, there good, TCS, etc for internship process and gives placement Training, and helps in every manner.

Placement Experience :

From the 9th semester, you are eligible for placements. Before that, in your 7th semester, you have to attend an internship for 6 months and college gives a platform for it. In cit the placements are good and every year about 95% gets placed. The highest package is 30lpa and the average package is 4lpa. The same goes for higher studies in foreign universities.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees are high for MSC courses compared to other courses in CIT. Since it is a self-financing course you won't find many scholarships. This course cost 1.5lakhs per annum, the course is a bit costly compared to other courses and not value for money if you did not use it wisely. The exams fees and hostel fees are common for all courses and it is reasonable and low compared to other colleges.

Campus Life :

Here in CIT, Every building you see is 60years old. You won't get attracted by the infrastructure. The lab facilities are nice. There are many labs. But everything is old. There are many clubs, many sports activities and everything are student-driven

Interview Experience :

Yes, there is an entrance test held in multiple cities. For which you have to apply on the college website by paying Rs. 1000. If you are shortlisted they will call for an entrance test. If you get shortlisted for the entrance test you have an interview, and results will be informed to you personally and your marks won't be revealed. Then starts your admission process

Course Curriculum Overview:

The specific aspect of curriculum is that it exposes the student to the actual applications of data science in the real world . The exams are held monthly once. Their difficulty level can be rated moderate.
